TB testing: what to expect? in Health ·
I’ve gone through that skin prick test twice now. From what I gather, there’s supposed to be some kind of reaction—like a bump measuring between 6 to 10mm?
I had to do it as part of a routine physical for my job...
The first time I did it last year, absolutely nothing happened. 😕
So, they just told me it was negative...
But I've been dealing with these constant throat issues for about a year now. I get these coughs that linger for weeks and nothing seems to actually fix them long-term... I’ll manage to clear it up, and then it just starts all over again. 🤷
A few days ago, I took the test again, and this time, something actually showed up. My sister noted down in the medical records that it came back positive...

Now I'm sitting here wondering—how does this test even work? What does it actually mean when something appears on your skin, or doesn't? Or what if the reaction is larger than 10mm? What does it imply that it finally turned out positive for me this time?

Thanks... 🙂

Personally, nothing has improved. Ever since I started using some nasty Belgian ointment, my skin has been itching so badly that my shirts are constantly stained with blood, and I'm ruining my sheets at night too. There is just no way to resist it. If I get even slightly frustrated, it turns into a total nightmare. My skin is bright red—thin, raw, and stinging so much it makes my eyes water... I can't even bear to look at myself. This has been dragging on forever, since last summer, and if this cream doesn't start working soon, I already know what kind of hell awaits me this summer. It’s been hanging over my head all these years. I think I'll try starting those herbal cleanses again to detox, because I definitely feel like things are getting toxic on the inside. July is coming fast, but this misery won't leave. No freedom in sight...

That’s just how it is... you have to accept it and figure out how to live like this... honestly, I don't see any long-term solution in sight 😢 ... maybe I’m being a pessimist, but 🤷

Once you've done that, cover the pot and give it an occasional stir until the liquid cools down enough to comfortably soak the psoriasis.
2-Take a shower first so your skin isn't greasy, then make sure you dry off completely.
3-Rub the brewed tea thoroughly (or pour it) over the psoriasis patches and just let it air dry—don't wipe it off. You should ideally do this treatment right before bed, every single day until the psoriasis clears up entirely, and then switch to once a week after that.

It worked for me, so I really hope it does for you too.

Hey there... quick question, can this be used on the scalp as well??

Also, one more thing—I haven't read through everything from the very beginning, so my apologies if someone already covered this... what are the actual side effects of using Betamethasone lotion? I've been using it on my scalp for a really, really long time (like ten years or so) on and off in short bursts (a month here, two months there)... it helps, but I'm still worried because I've heard it isn't exactly healthy...
