neonsurfer32 - I honestly don't buy that you have that kind of ass... it's not like you made it out of sugar and water just to melt away at the first sign of rain... and I highly doubt muscle mass deforms that much in just a few weeks..
I’m bloated. My ass is actually huge right now—pregnancy style, full and heavy... call me fat if you want, I don't care... 🥳
Yesterday some neighbor told me he wished I’d have a girl instead, like why do I even need more men 😠... so I asked him: "Why on earth would you assume I'm looking for one?" He just stood there, so I told him straight up that what I actually want is a healthy baby and to carry this pregnancy to term... absolute idiot. He has no clue I’ve already lost two pregnancies, so maybe think before you open your mouth, right?
On the topic of gaining weight—what am I supposed to do when I can clearly see it myself? Luckily, my friends are observant enough to point out how much my stomach has grown, while conveniently ignoring my massive ass and hips... 😁
I love my girlfriends...
As for the pounds—they were driving me crazy last week... now, I couldn't care less. This morning, I squeezed into a tight shirt and proudly flaunted all my "pregnancy" curves... I’m going to keep doing that until my next hormone treatment, and then I’ll just go back to wearing a potato sack. 😁
Just got pushed to my limit by some high on something idiot... clearly wasted, but he’s wearing a suit and is apparently a business partner... so you just have to sit there and take it.
It drives me crazy hearing that same repetitive garbage on the radio every five minutes... and don't even get me started on those mindless TV shows. Honestly, we should just ban this kind of low-rent production altogether...
I’m honestly just losing it... with food... I can't seem to stop... currently demolishing some Nathan's hot dogs and some cheap deli cheese 🤦
Mary, glad to hear everything went okay with the dog... 🙂

I honestly don't get why everyone's getting worked up over the skydivers... we're all just a bunch of heavy drinkers here anyway....if someone can't handle it, they can go grab a drink... and if someone's looking for a wedding, let them find one online. There's plenty of space out there. Can't we just put them on mute?
Paul Diaz602 said:Facts. It's mostly women commenting, usually the ones who are way too thin or way too heavy. They seem totally obsessed with the scale—just watching everyone else gain or lose weight and talking about nothing else.

Solid advice😉. Now we just need a comeback for those super skinny girls who are also obsessed with body image 😛. Like, I have this coworker, she's over 30, hasn't had a boyfriend in forever, doesn't have a job, stays home, and is way too thin. The whole conversation always turns into how all our school friends gained weight because they got married and had kids and couldn't get back to their old selves, while she's been the exact same weight since high school 🙄.

Anthony Watson35 hit the nail on the head... and honestly, that's an achievement in itself...
I have a few options for a comeback:
- "Yeah, you look great—like you haven't eaten since last Christmas / Easter..."
- Just ignore her comment entirely... then pivot straight to talking about sex, cuddling, and all the other joys you share with your husband... or don't have, but either way, you rub her lack of a sex life right in her face... because clearly, that's her core issue...
- Ask her point-blank: "Are you that thin because you're celibate or just lonely?"
etc.
Of course, you have to be sure the person is actually being malicious... someone who isn't being spiteful wouldn't say something like that... and if they are, they deserve a nasty reply...
Here’s a little tip—when some lady who’s carrying a bit of extra weight asks if you’re having twins, just give her a polite smile and say, "No, actually, it's triplets..." I find it exhausting lugging all this weight around in front of people... so I pair it with a deeply tragic expression. Then, once they've processed that, I'll just glance down at their waistline and ask, "So, how many are you expecting?" Lying to a stranger might be a sin, but seeing the look on their face? Totally worth it. 😠
If she looks like she’s a bit older, swap out the pregnancy question for: "I see those postpartum pounds are still hanging around for you." 😬
Personally, I don't think anyone will ever be brave enough to comment on my size again after that.
Man... my boss is driving me absolutely insane with his sheer incompetence and the way he constantly sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. 😠

All this bolded text is driving me insane, too!
I don't eat meat either, and everyone knows that, yet my mother-in-law still feels the need to comment: "Oh, why won't you eat turkey? It's healthy." 🙄
I also avoid refined carbs and things like that, and I get all sorts of comments about that, too. For instance, my mom asked me, quite worriedly, if I wasn't essentially starving my child through my diet. 🙄🙄🙄 Right, because whole grains are considered "starvation" compared to lovely white flour and sugar.
Plus, my lab results are excellent; my iron levels have stayed at the high end of the normal range throughout this entire pregnancy.

The sleeping comments particularly drive me up the wall—as if I can accumulate a surplus of sleep now and just tap into it whenever I need it later. 🙄To make matters worse, I'm already dealing with insomnia, calf cramps, restless legs, frequent bathroom trips...

And then there's the "it'll be hard, don't worry" crowd. Since I'm not expecting twins, I constantly deal with these little threats: "Do this," "Do that," "Enjoy this now," or "Sleep now because you won't be able to later." Honestly, it's like the world stops revolving the moment I have a baby (which, frankly, shouldn't matter to anyone else—whether I get sleep or not).

Besides the weight gain, maybe you're just low on magnesium and potassium... try eating more foods that are high in those.🙂
Olivia Miller2 said:Honestly, I’m never that person who looks at someone eating meat and goes, "Ew, how can you eat that?" or whatever. We all have our own vibes and lifestyles, right? Getting cocky about it or lecturing people on what’s healthy—like claiming no Nobel Prize winner was ever a vegetarian, which my uncle loves to say—is just pure arrogance. At the end of the day, we should respect where people are coming from, even if we don't see eye to eye.

Exactly. I eat pretty much anything (well, almost everything...), but it never crossed my mind to judge or belittle someone over their diet or any other belief. That changed once during an encounter with some animal rights activists who went off on me and my friends while we were grabbing a bite in front of a Burger King.
I just don't get people who feel the need to force their views on everyone else. We're all just trying to exist. Whether I think a greasy cheeseburger is the best thing on earth or someone else thinks it's garbage... 😉it doesn't matter.
Honestly, the best way to handle comments like that is to just hit them with a counter-question. Something like, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that—are you actually being serious right now?"
Personally, I enjoy shutting down stupid comments by asking an even stupider question in return...
I had a pretty flat stomach during my first two pregnancies, so I didn't feel much of anything for those first six months. You wouldn't believe the crap old ladies used to say to me back then. Now that I'm starting to show, I'll probably get hit with a whole different set of unsolicited opinions...
And I hate, hate, hate it when people try to touch my stomach. It gives me a sudden, violent urge to reach out and grab them right back in the groin. 😬
