I ended up on this site because I want to help a friend who just got diagnosed with lymphoma. Her finances are a total mess, so we've started chipping in, but the money isn't coming in nearly as fast as the disease is moving. Does anyone know if it's actually possible to crowdfund help online? (I saw a story recently about an animal rescue that raised $59 in just ten days through the web).
