As for Thompson, he’s typically nothing more than a dishonest piece of work, and frankly, he deserves everything that's coming his way. And then some...

I’m siding with this sentiment. Everyone gets what they deserve—including these two morons. 👍

People spend hours every single day on this forum engaging in mindless, retarded bickering—it's a complete waste of time—but suddenly it's an issue when someone actually spends their time exposing some third fraudulent idiot. 🤔 😁

It appears we have reached a point where Zelenskyy’s advisor is being treated with the same mystical reverence one might afford a fortune teller or a modern-day Nostradamus. 🙂

😲

He laid out every single detail—just like he always does.

I’m actually glad he spoke up and clarified this—because the idea that Ukraine could just "choose" neutrality in their current position is absolute nonsense. I am constantly hearing these moronic arguments suggesting they should have just opted for a neutral stance to avoid all this trouble—as if those aggressors would have just stayed home if they had. It's pure delusion. 🙂

I wasn't familiar with that saying, damn. Now I am. 🙂

When tragedy strikes, humor has always been the remedy—it's what preserves our sanity. Regardless of whether the catastrophe is personal or widespread, mockery becomes a necessity; it serves both the one calling out the absurdity of the situation and the one feeling the weight of it.

To be able to laugh life right in its face, no matter what it throws at you—that is a profound strength and a true virtue.

Mockery doesn't negate empathy, nor does it signal a lack of understanding. 👍

All of this—this entire mess—could have been avoided with a few handshakes and an actual embrace. 🕺

Are those colleagues of my friend actually in danger?

As long as there is EU funding flowing, there will be drones in the air.

What is a true American supposed to do—stand up with a buddy and march straight toward Russia?

Unless this is purely out of rage, have the Russians actually attacked us or declared war?

I highly doubt this was a direct Russian hit on Kyle Campbell4—it smells more like those rogue elements. Honestly, they might already be behind this failed attempt to take out our brave colleague. ☕

Listen up, you rogue thugs—you didn't succeed this time, you won't succeed next time, and you sure as hell won't succeed in the future! The Offside Battalion stands at the nation's front lines, right alongside the furious one. 🙂

Charles Ramos4 said:It’s a similar situation with Franko—I only know a couple of tracks, and I’ve never actually had the chance to see what else they bring to the table beyond those two radio hits. Not to mention there are plenty of other names I only recognize by a few songs (which happen to be good), but I haven't been smart enough to sit down and actually listen to a full album, a compilation, or catch one of their concerts. It’s a personal failing of mine, I suppose. 🙄

On this specific album, Frenkie actually did a cover of the guy in your profile picture, though I have a feeling you aren't going to care much for his take on it. 😁

Definitely give this extended version of Power of Love a listen—I've linked it above.

......on that 2010 Deluxe 2CD reissue, the absolute standout is The Ballad of 32 (mix 2)—it clocks in at nearly 11 minutes......that's where it really hits its stride—once the instrumentation finally gets permission to go full Pink Floyd on you......

FGTH - The Ballad of 32 (mix 2)

I’ve noticed you really know your stuff, especially when it comes to those 80s era bands. 👍

Personally, I think that was the absolute peak for music production. Just look at the arrangements from that decade—the sheer clarity and sonic richness they achieved in post-production was unparalleled...

Then again, sonic purity and complex layering aren't always the goal—every genre has its own set of structural rules and aesthetic standards.

But this extended version of one of the most beautiful ballads ever recorded is something else entirely:

Back in the day, I would have loved nothing more than to just lie on my floor, head sandwiched between two speakers, and completely lose myself in some sort of personal Nirvana...

Henry Campbell5 said:It ought to be the Album of the Month. Right now, people spend a week suggesting, a week voting, and then two weeks arguing—it’s inefficient. If we actually listened to the music, we’d have something real to discuss. Honestly, if someone is truly passionate about a suggestion, why wouldn't they just start their own thread to defend it? Maybe include a brief review when submitting? We could dedicate half the month to debating the picks and the other half to dissecting the winner—actually learning something in the process.

I'm all for stretching out this process, though a full month feels excessive—like trying to drive from New York to LA without stopping. Perhaps there is a middle ground? What if suggestions were limited to Thursdays only, leaving a week to listen and vote, followed by another week for discussion? This would create two-week cycles—enough time to actually hear the records and hold a decent conversation without the whole thing dragging on forever.

Just to weigh in on this suggestion 🙏 🙏

Personally much prefer I Don't Like Shit and i don't go Outside—though his entire discography is top-tier, ranging from early stuff like this 2010 release to those more abstract projects he’s dropping lately. 👍
