Woohoo! Looks like my intuition was spot on even early this morning...

jadetrucker43 said:Where did all that praise for the "Maestro" Zalonso go? And where’s all that spitting on everyone else—those supposed "frauds"? 🙂

They’ve gone completely silent. Not a single word from them. It’s honestly pretty slimy.😍

ruggedfox28 said:They popped like popcorn.

Hehehehehe, they finally knocked them back down to earth, especially Bottas, Vettel, and Kimi. You know, how people used to call him that "Finnish fraud"?

Frank Turner72 said:The criminal has been exposed... you just can't pull the wool over the public's eyes.

You’re thinking of Nico Rosberg... Honestly, he couldn't have done anything differently given his actual driving skill level.

cosmiccyclist8 said:There are just so many of them now. Honestly, I can't tell if there are even more obnoxious fans out there than there are for Fernando Alonso.

What everyone is saying here isn't just soft—it’s actually pretty obnoxious. And honestly? Just plain stupid. It’s incredibly dense. And yet, there he was again, whining about how Magnussen played him dirty in the turns. Look, Zalonso just doesn't have the technical edge on twisty tracks. He belongs on the ovals in the States.☕

cosmiccyclist8 said:The only thing anyone actually missed was him flashing the middle finger. 👍

He couldn't have driven it any better if he tried. He was right at the absolute limit of what he could pull off behind the wheel.

Tyler Bennett5 said:You can really see that classic Finnish spirit on the podium.
First, you pour the champagne for yourself. Only then do you serve everyone else.

That's exactly how it should be.😁

Joseph Flores15 said:The Ferrari setup for this race is just... wow. Honestly, I don't even know where to start. It feels like they're completely off the mark. 🙏

To be honest, even that sluggish pace on the straightaways was actually quite an impressive feat.

Zalonso really struggles through those corners, doesn't he?😁

Jason Campbell70 said:The fan's reaction says it all. 😍

Richard just snagged his third win of the season.
Vettel finished fifth in an identical car.

No, it’s definitely not a scam.

Where have you been? Zalonso was getting absolutely hammered by everyone today... and then he went and slammed right into the back of Vettel. Honestly, the guy was just masterful out there, no doubt about it.😁
stormybadger8 said:Nico Rosberg isn't buying it. He’s actually arguing that starting from Polly is the smarter play here. 🤣

What a bunch of wise guys. 🤣 They’re already starting with the pre-race trash talk. It’s all just games and jabs before they even hit the track. 😁

If they just go and mess up the start, you'll have the whole second row leading the pack before anyone even realizes what happened.😁
Patrick Bailey4 said:So, we're seeing Nico Rosberg just run away with it. Honestly, it’s pretty much what you'd expect at this point.

🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣

He really gave him a lesson out there... Now Žalons is left complaining... It looks like Daniel Ricciardo still has some growing to do when the track gets wet...
Jason Campbell70 said:The Maestro is a full second faster than that Finnish fraud.

Look, Maestro...😂 That nickname is pure nonsense. I mean, Sebastian Vettel absolutely schooled Žalons again...

Time will take its course. When the pain becomes truly unbearable—when he’s actually weeping from it—he’ll walk out that door on his own, probably whistling a tune, believe me. It only happens once the agony reaches a breaking point where he just can't stand it anymore. And by then, it'll already be time for the surgeon to step in.☕

Back to the doctor again. Hopefully they can prescribe something else so he isn't in so much pain...
Jacob White49 said:With the diffuser!? Who, when, why.......

Man, you clearly have no idea what DRS is or how a diffuser works. What are you even doing here on this forum? Was Sunday really the first time you've ever watched Formula 1 in your life!?
The video clearly shows what happens to the car through the high-speed section at Beckets-Magetts when the DRS flap gets stuck and fails to close completely.

That’s just a reaction to the nonsense I was quoting and the nonsense some fan is commenting on the video... What is actually happening there...? Kid, I honestly think this is only your second season following the sport, which explains why you're acting so hyperactive right now...😁 What can you actually see in that video...? Alonso messed up a few times, and that's it. These claims that the car was malfunctioning are totally baseless. What are you even basing that on...? You can see how much faster he is on the straights, yet Vettel is catching him both before and inside the corners... Vettel showed who the boss is, and Alonso is definitely going to remember this one for the rest of his life, especially after all that whining and complaining. "He's driving off track, trying everything... Oh boy, punish him, he's faster than me in the turns..." 😍

Thomas Mendoza2 said:I’ve been reading through these threads for about an hour now and honestly, I feel sick just thinking about it. I’ve had an "external" hemorrhoid for a few months. It just showed up out of nowhere overnight and has grown quite a bit since then. So, tonight after work, I went to hop in the shower and noticed some blood and lymph on my boxers. I feel like it's going to burst soon, and I'm wondering—if it does pop, will it finally go away, or am I back to square one? I haven't applied anything to it or seen a doctor yet, though I do make sure to clean up thoroughly after every bathroom trip. Also, can hemorrhoids actually be caused by standing on your feet all day? My legs are killing me at night with cramps, and I think it's because I spend eight hours straight standing at work.

Take a look at my previous posts—standing for long periods under heavy strain is a massive risk factor for hemorrhoids. Basically, while humans evolved to walk on two legs, our digestive system—specifically the end of the colon and the anus—hasn't quite caught up with that adaptation. Hemorrhoids are a real threat in professions where you're constantly on your feet, like barbers or surgeons. I’ve already shared links from professors who have written extensively on this topic... It won't just vanish, but the swelling should go down once the inflammation subsides. You really ought to see a doctor so they can take a look and prescribe something for you to apply... Good luck.
EDIT: I remember an episode with Dr. Oza where he advised checking your underwear; even if you don't see visible hemorrhoids, the discharge from internal ones can leave yellow stains on your boxers by the end of the day...
Jacob White49 said:That split second during the race where Alonso's rear wing picks up track debris, leaving him stuck in a partially open DRS position, which makes navigating those "corners" a nightmare!

http://wtf1.co.uk/alonso-insane-save-silverstone/

😂 What exactly is going on with the diffuser here...? Some guy in the title claimed there were issues, but I don't see anything... It looks like the people in the comments on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izqrsfcJMAc video were actually right—it was just Alonso peeling film off his visor... You haven't provided any proof for your claim, other than just blindly accepting everything said by a frustrated Alonso, who I'm sure will be feeling this sting for a long time to come...
But he’s just struggling to find his rhythm at Ferrari, and honestly, Vettel absolutely laid into him. He got schooled so badly that those bruises are probably going to haunt him for the rest of his career...
Jacob White49 said:Just watch Alonso’s interview on Sky right after the race... he’s basically confirming what RW said about the stalling.

I guess we'll just take Alonso's word for it when he defends himself... though let's be real, of course he's going to claim his hands were tied while stuck in that seat. He hasn't exactly been doing much since joining Ferrari...
neonfox65 said:If he had a dominant car like Vettel used to have, he’d be right there ahead of him taking the title. End of story.

Look, he definitely has a dominant car compared to Vettel, but he's still trailing behind the Mercedes-Benz... Just watch that clip of them chasing each other down and you'll see exactly what I mean. Look at the speeds Alonso is hitting versus how Vettel catches up to him in the corners. Besides, in that text I just quoted, it even mentions that Vettel was slower on the straights. If you have a faster car on the straightaways, you basically have everything you need to win... But Alonso just couldn't translate that speed into the turns. That's really all there is to it.
neonfox65 said:I can see exactly who the master is when Daniel Ricciardo pulls a move like that. 👋

Look, once Ricciardo actually manages to outperform someone like Sebastian Vettel—who’s been a world champion multiple times—then we can start having a real conversation about him being an elite driver. He still has plenty to prove. And honestly, how do you wrap your head around the idea that a faster car can actually be worse through the corners than a slower one? It isn't always on the driver. If you want to see how it's done, just look at the braking technique Vettel used during that duel with Alonso. It was masterclass stuff. Seriously, go check this out: I just finished watching that clip. It’s quite something, really. There's a certain weight to it that stays with you long after the video ends. I found myself sitting there for a few minutes afterward, just processing everything. It makes you think about the sheer scale of things. We often get caught up in the immediate details, the small stuff, but then a video like this comes along and shifts your entire perspective. It’s a bit humbling, honestly. You realize how much we overlook in our day-to-day lives. Anyway, I'm curious what everyone else thought. Did it hit you as hard as it did me, or am I just overanalyzing?
neonfox65 said:Look, I already said he was fast through the corners. That's my point. But I guess the difference between us is that you're giving all the credit to Vettel while I'm giving it to Red Bull. Whatever. 👋

What you're saying just doesn't make sense. You can tell who the real master is by how they handle the turns...
neonfox65 said:McNish Quote

Common sense dictates ☕

And what about this part...?

Sebastian Vettel, on the other hand, lacked straight-line speed, so he had to engineer a way to stay close enough to make an overtake possible.

😁
stormybadger8 said:So you're telling me that Ferrari is actually way better than the Mercedes?
A car without KERS that’s focused on fuel efficiency is 8.1 miles/h faster than the Mercedes in a drag race. Honestly, it’s terrifying to think how fast they'd be if they weren't dealing with all those technical issues.😳

Do we trust Zalons and his fan club, or just good old common sense...?😁
Jacob White49 said:Alonso was running on nine-lap older Pirelli tires... let me repeat that, Pirelli
Of course he looked fast on the straights. He likely had some debris stuck in his car from that first-lap collision, specifically in a DRS zone that wasn't fully closed. Naturally, that slowed him down through the corners. The warning light was blinking too—it was a mix of lifting to save fuel and tires, plus a nagging issue with the KERS battery. So, really, what are we even debating here?...

Ahem... Everyone is running on Pirelli tires. And how exactly did he manage to overtake Vettel? Was it just fuel and tire management then?...😂
Jacob White49 said:So those nine laps on fresh rubber and that flickering light on the back of the Ferrari didn't matter?

Not during an overtake at lower speeds, obviously. Ferrari just has more raw power on the straights...
neonfox65 said:Come on, Vettel doesn't stand a chance against Ricciardo, let alone being better than Alonso. 👋

Of course he can, provided the car holds up and it starts raining... 😉 And honestly, plenty of drivers are better than Alonso... But just look at how he was closing the gap in the corners despite having a much slower car. On the straights, Alonso was significantly faster after the exit... Only the truly great drivers can pull that off.
neonfox65 said:Red Bull Racing was faster through the corners than Ferrari, which is why Vettel finally managed to overtake Alonso.

Actually, no. It’s because Vettel is just a better driver who handles the turns more effectively. At the end of the day, it comes down to skill. It isn't just about "flooring it and squeezing the other guy out"—though, granted, you can only legally pull that move once per race...
