Patrick White9 said:I won't get into specific names—I hope you understand why—but I can tell you it involves a major private clinic in San Francisco that handles things like hemorrhoid surgeries. I’m not exactly a proctologist, so I didn't quite grasp the technical specifics of the exact procedure being used (honestly, I was a bit shell-shocked when I hit a dead end), but they do claim the recovery is painful. Well, "painful" is how I heard it described, anyway.
Did you happen to have your surgery done privately at that clinic—if I recall correctly, they're pretty much the only ones offering private procedures in San Francisco—or did you go through the hospital? When did you have it? And honestly, how has the recovery been treating you?

Regarding the THD, I’ve also scheduled my procedure for February 25th in New York City, but honestly, I don't know if I can hold out until then. The pain after my morning bowel movement today was just unbearable. I can't sit, I can't lie down, I can't even stand. I really don't know what I'm going to do; it's enough to drive anyone crazy.

I spent the afternoon at my homeopath's office to see what she had to say. Honestly, homeopathy might have actually been the thing that helped me last time. We sat there for two and a half hours—it felt more like a session with a psychologist than anything else. She grilled me on everything: my parents' medical history, my ancestors, every illness I had as a kid, even the specific stressors I've faced throughout my life. She even asked about my sweat patterns and whether I prefer hot or cold food and drinks. She really covers every single base. Based on this deep dive, she’ll be prescribing my homeopathic remedies tomorrow (we're talking classical homeopathy here). Before I left, she gave me some lard infused with calendula that she prepared herself. I also spent about five or six minutes slowly massaging the internal area with my finger, just following her instructions.

I'm thinking about heading out to see the herbalist Sadiković in Ljubuški. I spoke with him over the phone, and he was incredibly reassuring—insisted that my grade 3 hemorrhoids aren't an issue at all and that he can handle them quite easily. Has anyone here actually visited him specifically for chemical or medicinal treatments? I know a few people who went to him for entirely different things, like heart arrhythmias, fertility issues, or migraines, and they swear he's the one who saved them. Just curious if anyone has firsthand experience with his approach.

I honestly don't know if I've gone overboard searching for a miracle cure. When that stinging pain hits this hard, I lose all sense of direction. I just want the suffering to stop. It’s reached a point where I can't live my life, I can't work—I can't do anything. For the last seven days, nothing else has mattered. It's just been them versus me. One against the world. Who's going to come out on top?

I’d honestly prefer to go with that THD method, but I’m just not sure if I can hold out for another two weeks while dealing with this pain. I'm trying to lean on homeopathy or some herbal remedies to manage the discomfort just to get me through until then. Still, I have a feeling surgery might be my only real option. Homeopathy or teas might mask the issue for a little bit, but they aren't fixing anything. My hemorrhoids are at Grade III, one of them is bleeding, and the whole area feels inflamed. Everywhere I look online, the consensus seems to be that once you hit Grade III, you're looking at surgery.

I saw some posts on Italian medical forums last night where people were saying even THD didn't help them. I couldn't really dive deep into the research today because the pain was just too much. I'm hoping I can get back to studying this more thoroughly very soon.

Is it even possible that THD isn't completely fixing the issue with the hemorrhoids?

Come on, everyone, let's pool our resources. Let's use Google together to see what people overseas are actually saying about THD. We need to find out the real truth from an international perspective!

Because let's be honest—everything written by THDLab or those PR articles, whether they're posted here or anywhere else, makes everything sound absolutely perfect. They make it seem like you just walk in, get everything fixed in thirty minutes, and walk out feeling like the problem never even existed. And what's more? They never even come back.

Just wanted to mention that PILEX hasn't done a thing for me yet. I just popped my 11th tablet today, so I have three left in the pack. Is it possible it might finally kick in at the very end? Or maybe this whole thing is just making matters worse? Has anyone else here dealt with something like this?

Dennis Bennett43, when you say you don't regret choosing surgery even though it’s the harder path, does that mean the post-op pain isn't actually as intense as what I was describing earlier? Also, given the specific method used in the surgery, is there still a real risk of it coming back?

Help me out here, my fellow sufferers!

Hemorrhoids can honestly be the worst pain imaginable. I truly feel for you, so please, try what I suggested. It really comes down to living a calm life with a strictly controlled diet. I’m assuming you're out of work right now? If so, take all the sick leave you need. Just forget about the stress and the job for a while. Things have flared up, and you just need to let them settle down. I believe the pain is unbearable—it really doesn't get any worse than this. The absolute worst part is how they just won't quit. I actually came across a recipe for making an ointment for external hemorrhoids at a pharmacy once. If I can track it down, I'll send it your way. Good luck...👍

Ah, I missed that part. St. Louis is probably the most diverse city in the US, and honestly, it’s a massive thorn in the side of nationalists from any faith, especially those tied to the Democratic Party or the old guard. The urban core has been leaning toward social democracy for a century now—they don't call it "Red St. Louis" for nothing. The mayor is a Democratic Party guy, so he handles that crowd just fine. The real issue is that manufactured County surrounding it, which is mostly populated by more rural, traditional folks who moved in from the outskirts. That area is basically a stronghold for the Democratic Party, and it's those types of people who cause all the friction...

You guys act all "cool" and "chill," calling yourselves rebels and free spirits, even in a place like Tuzla, which is basically the most liberal part of the Grafit city area out in the sticks...

That never happened in St. Louis. When did it happen? Maybe I missed it, but I don't think it ever did.

Karen Adams2 said:So, here's my situation. I go to the bathroom regularly and don't deal with constipation. When these issues first started, everyone kept telling me to load up on broth, stews, and soups. It ended up making me run to the bathroom about six times a day.🙄While I was already dealing with unbearable pain, this just made everything so much more irritating... it was awful. That’s why.:mig
:
But again, just because that happened to me doesn't mean it works for everyone. Everyone needs to experiment and see what actually suits their own body.

Ideally, you want to have one bowel movement per day. Frequent trips to the bathroom—no matter how small the movements are—just make things worse. Your stool should be a bit softer when things are inflamed (but still normal), and then it can firm up later on. Whatever you do, don't try to force a bowel movement, because you could end up triggering issues with hemorrhoids...

Brenda Sanders56 said:We Americans are supposedly the most multicultural people on the planet, 😁, or so they say. It looks like my intuition was spot on after all. 😁

I just can't wrap my head around how those Islamists can be so incredibly hypocritical. 😕. They’re basically handing everything over to someone like Milorad Dodik on a silver platter, which just proves his theories about Tehran were right all along.

Well, "The New York Post" is basically Milorad's twin brother at this point. The owner of the paper is essentially aligned with him, so it’s no surprise they push that "the worse things get, the better it is" narrative.

Gregory Howard said:This just highlights how incredibly dim-witted Joe and Hal are. Well, there is a deeper truth buried in this text, but it's being presented in a completely wrong way.

I watched maybe three or four episodes of that series in total. It turned my stomach immediately. Watching James Earl Jones act like some pathetic, sniveling loser was revolting. To me, the entire show felt like an anti-Muslim—or rather, an anti-American—propaganda piece, even if they botched the religious references.

It felt like the script was penned by some bitter hater of American Muslims. Then, much to my shock, I hear people calling it a "cult classic." To me, the whole thing reeks of an almost primal intolerance, caricaturing Americans as nothing more than drooling, idiotic losers.

And here is the kicker. Now, suddenly, they’re offended. They weren't offended by the unaddressed nonsense from the Mustafians, but they sure are offended by some mention of bacon.

Bravo. And Santa Claus just handed them the win for being such fools.

Izet is your typical American retiree. There are plenty of guys like him out there, and I think you nailed it...

Taylor Green said:Thanks so much. I’m heading straight to the drugstore tomorrow. Any idea how long it'll take to heal?

Look, you aren't facing anything massive yet, and it isn't a huge deal right now, but don't let things get out of hand. If you neglect it, you're asking for trouble. First things first: make sure you wash thoroughly and dry off well after every bathroom trip. Use some of those creams, and you should be fine in a day or two. But if you skip the hygiene and don't treat it—especially if you're eating spicy food or dealing with constipation—you could end up in the hospital needing surgery. Just watch out for those specific things. Also, stress is a huge factor; it makes everything so much worse. Just try to stay calm and you'll be okay. Good luck...

Taylor Green said:Well, I’ve been checking everything and it looks fine. It doesn't really hurt when I touch it, but I get this itchy feeling after using the restroom—it usually lasts about an hour at most. You actually have a point regarding what you said earlier. Looking back at my stats over the last four months, it turns out I’ve been eating spicy food almost every other day. Lots of spicy sausage and hot deli meats. Plus, my stool has been pretty hard quite often, which meant I was straining. If I stay consistent with the ointment and keeping things clean, how long until this clears up? Can I actually get back to normal?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there isn't a magic pill. You basically have to learn to manage it. Treatments help soothe the symptoms, but they don't make them vanish forever. My advice? Watch your fiber intake. Don't sit there forever when you're on the toilet; if things get hard, you end up straining, and that just aggravates the hemorrhoids. Skip the spicy food. And avoid alcohol too—don't drink when you're flared up, because alcohol dilates your blood vessels, and hemorrhoids are essentially just dilated veins in a very inconvenient spot. Some people will tell you that sitting is the main culprit, but that's not entirely true. It’s mostly about your habits, your diet, and your genetics. When you're feeling a flare-up, try not to sit on hard surfaces; the extra pressure just makes the pain worse.

Taylor Green said:Would it be smart to go to the doctor right away, or is this just the beginning where I can handle it myself using creams and ointments like you suggested?

You don't necessarily need a doctor immediately. Grab a mirror and take a look. Feel the area. If there isn't any pain, then they probably aren't inflamed yet. Try using some Fact or Preparation H, or anything else that has Xylem in the name. Also, watch your diet. Avoid spicy foods. You might get away with a little black pepper since it usually processes through fine, but for heaven's sake, stay far away from hot peppers or chili. If things take a turn for the worse, then head to the doctor to make sure you aren't dealing with internal hemorrhoids. And please, make sure you aren't getting constipated...

Exactly. And you have to keep things hygienic. It’s not just about grabbing some paper and calling it a day. You absolutely need to wash up first, then dry off with a paper towel. Just grab some Fact or something similar...
copperbison5 said:Now isn't the time for guns, sir, but when the time finally comes, you'll definitely find me right there in the thick of it, standing on the front lines. I've never run from that fight and I sure as hell won't start now, because I'm talking about the survival of my faith, my people, and my homeland—and those are sacred to me!

Look, man, we didn't fight to get what we have today. Back when we were fools, we actually believed we were all just "Canadians." But we weren't. Tunjo cooked up this whole "Canadian" identity, and then even the Orthodox and Catholics who served in the Army of the Republic of Canada had to suddenly identify as Mexicans or Americans because they couldn't claim to be Canadians. If war breaks out again? Count me in. I’d join the first Munich proletarian brigade immediately. I’d be right there in the European Union, cheering you guys on over a beer, shouting, "Give them weapons! End this unjust embargo!"😁
copperbison5 said:Among the Canadians, they aren't worried about him. He’s got massive support from the Canadian corps and would likely be one of the first people standing up if there was ever an attack on Canada—specifically an attempt at partition.

I believe you regarding the partition part. The man is as moral as his father...😁 But when it comes to defense? Forget it. We all know how his old man Alija's little adventure ended.😁

feralcobra92 said:Michael Diaz4, thanks for the advice, but I have absolutely no interest in sucking anyone dry just to feel better, because honestly, I’d just end up feeling sorry for myself. Once I start getting that bitter and nasty, I realize how pathetic that whole situation actually is (and I bet you feel it too, even if you're too much of a man to admit it), so there's really no point in going down that road.
I'm not out here hunting for unconditional love or total devotion either; a perfectly normal, professional relationship would be more than enough for me.
I just can't stand living this way, constantly dragging work drama home with me. When my kids try to tell me about their day at school, I find myself tuning them out and thinking, "Oh, give me a break, now they're gonna blame me for this or that too." Look, I know I might be part of the problem because I tend to be a bit too soft and struggle with my self-confidence sometimes, but this is just the reality of it. So, how do you all deal with all the absolute nonsense at your jobs?

Don't waste your energy feeling sorry for people because of how they act. That's just who they are. Period. So many people are just shady, envious, or straight-up rotten to the core. You can't fix them. And when I let their behavior get to me, I end up feeling stuck in these categories:😁
Disorder Rating
Paranoid Disorder Rating: High

High Schizoid: Low

Low Schizotypal: Low

Low Antisocial: Low

Low Borderline: Low

Low Histrionic: Moderate

Moderate Narcissistic: High

Low Avoidant: Low

Low Dependent: Low

Obsessive-Compulsive: High

You never know what kind of idiot you're going to run into, and I certainly ran into my fair share back in the day.😁

Poor souls. Sometimes, I actually do feel bad for them. 😂

feralcobra92 said:I didn't land this job through some shady connection or anything, we just happened to become close friends down the road! And honestly, my paycheck isn't three times higher than anyone else's either, since they work different shifts which really adds up over time.
Anyway, I’ve got a whole new "situation" on my hands because apparently, I'm supposedly dating a coworker now. Just when I thought everything was finally settling down and going great, out comes the rumors about cheating! I seriously can't deal with this anymore; it is such a wild situation. People are constantly digging around trying to find some juicy little scandal about me, but I am honestly such a boring person that there is absolutely nothing scandalous to find! I am just so exhausted by all of it.

What people say doesn't matter. As for those rumors about workplace affairs and other nonsense, everyone knows they aren't true. Look, I'm a man with principles. When I first started out as an intern, people tried to walk all over me. I didn't let them, so it ended without much trouble. Later, I was the new guy again at a different firm. Things weren't quite as messy as what you're dealing with since I'm a man, but certain guys with less education who were unfairly placed in similar roles felt threatened. They tried to belittle me or even insult me. But I "killed" them with sheer expertise. Sometimes I had to be blunt—really blunt—because I can't stand pushback or being mocked. Once they realized they were dealing with a hard nut to crack, they backed off. Now, they just avoid me, and honestly, I'm happy about that. We don't have to like each other, but we have to maintain a professional relationship. I won't allow anything beyond that. I'll admit, though, I did mess with them a bit and kept them on their toes just to make sure they never forget who they're dealing with...😁

At the end of the day, you’re just more intelligent than they are, so find a way to get them involved. You can't actually get anything done without some level of cooperation. Just give them a task to focus on and everything should fall into place.

feralcobra92 said:I really hope you're right about this! A colleague who’s been at the company for ten years told me straight up that my only real mistake was being the new kid on the block.
Honestly, working at this government agency is such a trip because the bosses just couldn't care less about anything; they don't lift a finger to intervene even when things are going sideways. Most of the people I've had to deal with have been there for over thirty years, so they're totally set in their ways. I'm not even angry, I'm just genuinely heartbroken about it all. I used to show up to work every morning with such a huge smile on my face, but now? Now I honestly wish I could just close my eyes and never have to face this reality again. I actually tried to sit down and have a heart-to-heart with the person who makes my life a total nightmare, but she completely shut me out; she just stays stuck in her own little world and treats everything I say like a blatant lie. It's like I'm speaking a foreign language to her! If things don't turn around soon, I'm definitely going to start looking for a new job elsewhere. What a complete mess.

I didn't read the rest yet, but until I do, here is some advice. That support staff that hates your guts and constantly undermines you? You need to bury them in work. Give them tasks. Assign them projects, find a legitimate reason to dump a massive, complicated workload on their desks that requires all their focus. Once they don't have the spare time to gossip, the drama will stop. And once they think they've gotten back on your good side? Hand them more work. Watch how quickly they start listening to you once they realize you can keep them busy. 😁
