Since I haven't seen a single response or reaction from the mods after 24 hours, I’m assuming they’re basically fine with the insults and the smear campaigns being used for trolling and spamming.

It’s getting pretty clear that we can't trust the mods or admins anymore, especially when you see this kind of blatant disrespect sitting right there in the posts and user signatures.

When does the constant insults finally stop?

Apparently, reports like this just go ignored by the moderation team.

You don't have to look far to see this whole troll squad operating in one corner of the board. It’s all pretty obvious, especially with the moderator giving them their "blessing."
If the thread is actually considered irrelevant, then just shut it down instead of using it as a way to belittle other users.

Since when did we start allowing this kind of trolling and constant ad hominem attacks against people?
Are the forum rules just suggestions now?

The topic is pyramids!

The mods? They're fine. Doing their jobs. And look, if you can't handle it, you're free to go start a Substack or whatever...

It’s funny how you love this kind of moderation—the kind that looks the other way while you break every single rule on this board.

Take a look at this "advice" of yours.
What are you, a moderator or an admin?

I'm asking the admins to actually look at this guy's posts and see the kind of language he uses to insult and belittle people.

Just look at his signature. It tells you everything you need to know about how much he respects the rules here and what his actual motive is.

Aren't the rules supposed to apply to everyone equally?

It’s pretty obvious on this forum that the rules laid out by the moderators don't actually apply to everyone equally.
It’s pathetic when the mods themselves have their little "favorites" who get a free pass to break every rule in the book—and then they actually encourage it with comments that derail discussions instead of helping them!
I honestly get the feeling the moderators just can't handle certain topics because they don't grasp the nuances, so they jump to baseless conclusions. Shouldn't they be staying neutral and just enforcing the rules? They seem to forget there’s a real person behind every username, someone entitled to share an opinion or an observation that might not always align with some "scientific" consensus.
After I asked for them to stop users from putting other members' names in their signatures just to mock and humiliate them—which is a direct violation of the rules here (and any decent site)—it says everything you need to know about the admins and mods over at "NRZ alternative."
Some people are constantly allowed to resort to the lowest form of human insults—going after mothers, families, or religious and ethnic backgrounds—even though they don't know a single thing about the person they're attacking.

Aren't the rules supposed to be the same for everyone?

Ethan Brooks59 said:Look, nothing in my signature is meant as a personal attack or a judgment of anyone. Regarding Rocky, I’m talking about a guy who started this whole thread—one of those threads they eventually lock up—and spent the entire time insulting everyone who dared to point out his obvious logical and mathematical blunders. He just states his "facts," asks himself questions, and then answers them himself. Once someone pointed out a blatant math error he made, he just went on a total tear, hurling insults all over the forum. Honestly, if you look at his subsequent posts, he didn't just refuse to take advice; he doubled down with a series of, frankly, pathetic little jabs. So yeah, I stepped away from that topic because there’s zero point in arguing with him anymore.
As for Elizabeth Cruz, I haven't seen this much condescension, stupidity, and cynicism on this board in a long time. Anyone who points out that she just copies and pastes other people's work—that she hasn't actually written half a page of her own content—can expect the same treatment. Every time someone asks a question, whether they're polite or not, she either ignores it or just drops a random link. If you push back, she starts clicking the report button and throwing insults. If she just posted a "greatest hits" collection of the nonsense she's spewed over the last six months, she'd have five pages of text right there. I don't know what your educational background is, and honestly, it doesn't matter; if you actually know something, then we can talk. Whether it's mainstream science or something on the fringes. But this thread is supposed to be on the edge of science, not a playground for idiots. Let's not pretend; if we wanted that, we'd start a thread asking, "Is Little Red Riding Hood a real person?"
So, my signature isn't an ad-hominem attack; it's just a snapshot of the daily "highlights" we deal with here. Rocky and Elizabeth Cruz are textbook examples of inaccuracy and attitudes that have nothing to do with the fringes of science, or science in general.

By the way, I'll ask my colleague Maria Parker77 to list my own "highlights" so I can have a good laugh too. I've written so many posts I'd love to see which ones

Do you really think citing Wikipedia gives your arguments any weight? It looks nice on paper (in theory), sure.
But in reality, distinguishing actual science from "pseudoscience" is a nightmare. There’s plenty of research out there that lacks a solid theoretical foundation, plenty of papers reviewed by incompetent experts, and countless results that are nearly impossible to verify. Plus, scientists find it incredibly hard to admit when their theories are wrong or outdated. That's why you have to be extremely careful when labeling something "pseudoscience," and even more cautious when calling something "science."
I'm not forcing my opinions on anyone; I'm just stating them like everyone else. Sometimes, when I'm short on time, I'll share links to things I find interesting regarding the topic. I don't always include the sources because some users accused me of "promoting" sites for profit. It seems pointless to try and paraphrase or "translate" what someone else wrote in my own words anyway. These links and descriptions just show different perspectives that don't always fit into the "textbook" mold; they just show that alternative views exist. Besides, most of the "knowledge" people claim to have is really just them quoting someone else.
That user Zecopas was the first one to put my handle in his signature specifically to mock me, and you jumped right in to support him and did the exact same thing without my permission.
Is this even okay?
By justifying that kind of attitude, they claim to be promoting science as an inspiration for the younger generation, but they’re doing the exact opposite. They’re just killing off any dissenting opinion with their vulgar, low-class behavior on this forum.
It’s funny how the insults always start flying the second I show them something they don't want to hear—let alone see. Some of these people have never seen certain things in their lives.
If only they could say it without the insults. But no, apparently it's too much to ask to string two sentences together without every other one being total garbage or pure stupidity.
And then we're supposed to think their opinions actually matter?
Who exactly?
