Good grief, Red Bull is absolutely dominant right now. Honestly, we’re just lucky they didn't have two total rookies behind the wheel, otherwise this championship would have been wrapped up before we even hit the eighth race of the season.
Man, what an absolute shame for Gasly. He was showing some seriously impressive pace throughout the entire qualifying session; if it weren't for that penalty, he would have locked in P4, or even P3, and honestly, he would have been a legitimate threat for the win. Still, I have full confidence that the Red Bull Racing duo will step up and get the job done.☕
I am honestly just rooting for the moment where things finally align for him—hoping his engine holds up, that he’s actually behind a competitive car, and that he doesn't get swallowed up by someone like Sebastian Vettel or whoever else is on the grid. I just want to see him avoid getting stuck in a DRS train where he's left with zero chance to make a move. I have absolutely no doubt that if he were given even a shred of an opportunity, he would be the first one to seize it.
I honestly can't decide, but for me, nothing beats those moments when Kimi Raikkonen secures pole position and just absolutely shreds the field from the very first corner to the last, pulling away by a massive half-minute over second place.
People tend to overlook just how incredible Kimi was during his time at McLaren. He was nothing short of phenomenal, yet consistently plagued by terrible luck.😢 Recently, even an American columnist mentioned that he arguably deserved the championship title more than Fernando Alonso did. I vividly remember two specific races where he dominated from start to finish, only to be forced out by mechanical failures. In both instances, Alonso ended up taking the win instead. It speaks volumes that Jean Todt at Ferrari was chasing after Kimi rather than the two-time world champion, Alonso. From the moment I started following Formula 1, he has been the most talented driver on the grid, but talent only goes so far when you act like you couldn't care less about anything. Then again, if he weren't like that, he probably wouldn't be quite as charming as he is.

It’s hard to say if he even could have overtaken him if he’d really gone for it. Once Lewis Hamilton dropped out, this turned into quite a decent haul for both of them...🙂
Mark Webber had incredible luck—no penalty, and those tires somehow lasted 25 laps... He earned that title 🤦
Jenson Button is what gets on my nerves the most; he just drives so predictably, picking up points and staying right at the top 😕 I much prefer an aggressive Lewis Hamilton, someone who puts his whole soul into the track, rather than that lifeless, hollow Button, it's awful...👎
With a lucky Webber in the mix, I still think the main fight through to the end will be between Sebastian Vettel and Alonso. I’ll give the slight edge to Red Bull because they still seem to be one step ahead ☕
When Button attacks Hem in Turkey, the message he gets is "save fuel," but when Button attacks Hem at Spa-Francorchamps, the instruction is "be careful, you might need to come in for a pit stop." In Singapore, he can feel lucky to be within just 30 seconds; if it hadn't been for the SC, the top two would have lapped him. It really seems like McLaren is falling behind both Ferrari and Red Bull. And I have absolutely no doubt that Button will be the first one to seize the opportunity (provided his car allows it) and tear through the rest of those jokers, simply because he is the most composed, the most level-headed, and it appears to me that he drives with the least amount of pressure.
Michael Lee4 said:Who exactly are you trying to lecture on basic physics? 😁 I’m just wondering where Mark Webber would’ve ended up with that line and that braking point if Hamilton hadn't been there to hit him...
And now people are laughing because Lewis Hamilton is some "spoiled brat." 🤦 Fuck, the guy gets overtaken, and Webber had absolutely zero fucking chance given his trajectory and braking—he was destined to hit him. Now he's the spoiled brat just because he lost his cool for a valid reason.
What kind of brains are running this forum? 🤦
It's true, he certainly pulled off quite a move away from the Hemoš car.

Can he hold off Mark Webber? Or will those two just pull away from each other immediately? ... You're not wrong, though.
I am curious to see if Button can break through and snatch second place right at the start.🙂
I am eagerly anticipating the start of the race; I am particularly interested to see how the second row plays out, as it promises to be quite a chaotic scramble.
It’s clear that Fernando Alonso and Ferrari are absolutely on fire right now. I’m fully expecting a victory for Fernando Alonso, with his teammate right there in second place—it feels like we might see a repeat of what happened at Monza.
