Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!]

Hey! Looks like there's another psoriasis survivor joining the club:-)
I’ve been dealing with my psoriasis since I was five years old. I’ve tried everything under the sun—from medical treatments to the mental battle against those stupid flakes. I've finally accepted that meds only offer temporary relief, so I only use them when things get really bad. I try to stay away from corticosteroid creams (like Beladerm or whatever), preferring the calcium calcipotriol stuff (Cortizone). It’s pricey, and you have to pick it up at the drugstore, but damn... it works.
Doctors just seem to circle the drain with psoriasis; they don't actually know anything, so I stopped listening to them.
My skin is doing great right now because I finally got my life together and I'm a much calmer person. That's what happens when you fix your head.
