Look, these creams aren't some kind of magic wand that works for everyone; I’ve tried stuff that did absolutely nothing for me, even though it worked wonders for a buddy of mine. What clears up my skin might just make someone else break out. That's why I've gotten pretty cynical about it—now I just test everything on one tiny spot first, and if I actually see some improvement, then I'll commit to rubbing it everywhere. Oh, and I even heard someone mention today that using juice from young green walnuts is supposedly amazing for the skin... has anyone actually gone through the trouble of trying that?

A friend of mine tried one of those supplements meant to boost breast size—followed the dosage perfectly and everything—but she ended up dealing with such nasty side effects that she just completely gave up on the whole idea. She put on a ton of weight, too, and when she finally saw her doctor, he told her she’d basically been nuking her system with way too many hormones... so honestly, just be happy with what you've already got 🙂

I honestly can’t even tell how old this thread is getting, I’ve been dealing with this since I was sixteen. It started out as just this tiny little patch on my elbow that I didn't really bother with, then it moved to my scalp, but for the hair stuff, I used Ecural—and seriously, hats off to whoever came up with that 🙏—because it works wonders for scalp psoriasis. For me, it starts receding after just two days, and then the whole thing vanishes for a few months before deciding to show its face again, and we start the whole cycle all over. But the ointments? Man, nothing worked. Ecural cream did nothing, Beloderm was a bust, Psorifug didn't touch it, even olive oil was useless. Now it feels like about 70% of my skin is hit, and it's even starting to mess with my nails. The problem is, the specific cream I actually need to track down, Kanesten, isn't exactly easy to find around here in the States. A trip to the beach and some sunshine helped clear up the redness and the scaling, but I'm still stuck in this ongoing battle with 👎. And as for people and how they act... honestly, they never change. Back in high school, kids would tell me I had some contagious disease and stay far away from me. Once graduation rolled around, I finally just told them exactly what I thought of their bullshit and stopped letting it get under my skin 😬
