Hey everyone! I've got a quick question for those of you who are using the balm. I’m using it myself right now, and I was wondering—do you guys just wait for the skin to flake off naturally on its own, or do you actually help it along by gently peeling it once you see it's almost ready to come loose?

Honestly, they just don't get along at all. It's pretty well known that psoriasis loves to flare up whenever there's any kind of skin injury, and let's face it—getting a tattoo is basically "slicing" into your skin.
I actually went ahead and got one on my back, and after just two days, the whole thing was completely covered in a psoriasis flare-up that followed the exact lines of the tattoo design.

So, I just picked up some homemade lavender-infused olive oil! It didn't come from a pharmacy or anything, just a local small-batch maker. Do you guys think this would be okay to use?

Wait, where on earth do you even find St. John's Wort pre-mixed with olive oil? I’ve been hunting for that exact combo everywhere and totally struck out. I can find them separately at the health food store, but finding them already blended together is like finding a needle in a haystack!

I finally managed to score some calcipotriol-based ointment! It’s called Sorel, and you can't find it anywhere here in the States, but I picked it up while I was traveling through a spot near $33 and honestly? So far, so good. It seems pretty legit!

Look, there is NO CURE for psoriasis. I know, I know—it’s a tough pill to swallow for those of us dealing with this every single day, but it’s just the honest truth. We can talk about all kinds of different treatments, medications, or even "home remedies" that help manage the symptoms
and make life a little more bearable, but when someone claims they can actually *cure* me? That’s when I lose it.

We’re basically just a target group for every snake oil salesman and hack out there looking to make a quick buck, especially since there are millions of us across the US. On the flip side, we’re also desperate enough to grab onto any straw, praying there might be some magic formula that finally gets rid of this annoying condition for good.

Trust me, I’ve been through the ringer with people peddling "miracle creams," and I’ve wasted a mountain of cash on them, but I’m officially done.
Now, whenever someone tries to pitch me a "cure" for psoriasis, I tell them, "Sure thing, buddy! Hand over that ointment or whatever it is. I’ll try it, and if it actually works, I’ll pay you five times your asking price!!!" Ha! Of course, the answer is always a massive NO.

Sorry, please don't take this personally! I really didn't mean to be rude. You might genuinely just want to help, but please, I’m begging you—maybe swap out that phrase "CURES PSORIASIS" for something like "helps manage it" or "soothes the symptoms."

I’ve heard about that Psoriasis brand and the honey too. Honestly, I tried the Psoriasis stuff myself and it didn't do a lick of good for me, but it worked wonders for my mom—her skin cleared up and hasn't flared back up since.
