Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
I’m posting this here in the hopes that I might be able to help someone out.
Basically, my sister has been battling scalp psoriasis for years now. She’s tried everything—harsh chemicals, various over-the-counter creams from places like CVS or Walgreens—and honestly, half the time they did more harm than good. Eventually, she stumbled upon an ancient, all-natural remedy.
I might have missed it if it was already mentioned on the forums, so please don't be mad if I haven't read through every single thread.
Here is the recipe:
Take some forest ivy leaves, chop them up, and stuff them into a wide-mouth jar right up to the top. Pour in some apple cider vinegar (preferably homemade if you can find it). Let the jar sit in the sun for about ten days, then strain it.
When using the liquid, take just enough for that day's application and dilute it with a little bit of water. Apply it to the scalp, let it sit for about thirty minutes, then apply it one more time before washing everything off with a very mild shampoo.
After that, once the hair is dry, dab a tiny bit of St. John's Wort onto the affected areas using a cotton ball.
Also, drink a liter of nettle tea every single day.
Regarding diet, she had to completely cut out: sodas, alcohol, anything canned, deli meats, lard, sugar, cocoa, eggs, fatty fish, walnuts, lemons, tangerines, oranges, grapefruit, beans, peas, organ meats, and pork.
Instead, it's recommended to eat: fresh cheese, kefir, corn, kale, cabbage (especially red cabbage—the more the better!), mushrooms, trout, apple or pear compote, salad, chestnuts, potatoes, chicken, and veal (just make sure it isn't fried).
For her, after just two months, things are looking so, so much better. The buildup on her scalp is gone; now it just looks like a bit of heavy dandruff. She’s been fighting this for years and has never seen results like this.
Interestingly, at the beginning of this old recipe, it says: "Avoid all shouting and anger."
🙂
