Sean Foster81, let’s start with this: just write out exactly what kind of psoriasis you have.
Since you're always talking about how fast this infection spreads, I’m starting to think you actually have psoriasis. If that’s the case, your whole story finally makes sense—especially that part about your trip to Miami and swimming in the ocean.

Greetings from a sweltering Washington, D.C.

Hey, Sean Foster81.

You can't just quit steroids cold turkey. You have to taper off incredibly slowly. We’re talking a reduction process that can take up to six months—and if you’ve been on them long-term, you might be looking at a full year.
This is also their window for poisoning your system. You need to start a liver detox at the same time. A real treatment—one that actually shows up in your bloodwork—takes about four to six months. It has to be custom-tailored to your specific situation and how your body reacts; you can't just randomly grab whatever "liver cleanse" you heard about on some health blog. It requires strict dietary changes and calorie reduction too.
If you’re interested, I can shoot you a DM with the number for this guy out in Romania. He’s a herbalist who handled a similar situation for me. Honestly, despite all the heavy hitters—specialists from the Mayo Clinic and big-city infectious disease doctors—he was the only one who actually made progress with my liver.

Regarding your suggestion about picking up some extra income, it's fine.
Of course, that’s only if you decide to blow all your cash on those fancy goldfish. If you go down that road, you're definitely going to need a second job on top of working on the car.
Instead of wasting your time looking at cars, you should probably just spend that energy reading through every single page on this forum. It’ll give you a much better idea of what people have actually gone through here.
Maybe you’ll finally realize that obsessing over "cars" isn't actually going to help you find a solution for your psoriasis.

Big hello to our "innovative" new member.

Regarding the idea of detoxing the liver, it’s always a good concept to keep in mind.
Given my own liver issues—which official doctors can't quite pin down either, they just know what it isn't—characterized by constantly elevated enzymes (ALT, AST) along with high bilirubin and triglycerides (and sometimes HOLESTEROL).

The liver responds really well to artichoke extract (you'll find it in almost any health food store); it's one of the best tools for drainage. After using it for a few months, you might notice your sense of taste returning to normal, which makes you realize just how bad your daily diet actually is.

You can also find supplements like RELIV FORTE and LIV52 in pharmacies. You basically need to take them constantly, cycling them every two months. In my experience, they are easily the top two natural options out there.

Any kind of root vegetable helps the liver (beets, radishes, horseradish, etc.).
Start adding more curry powder to your meals. There were times I was going through a tablespoon a day.
Eat spicy food.
Eat half a fresh pineapple every single day.

There's also shark liver oil, but honestly, it's overpriced for what it is. It mostly just provides Omega-3s, which you can get much cheaper from a simple can of tuna or, if you're lucky, some cheap mackerel.

A sick liver can't handle physical exhaustion (long runs, intense manual labor), sunbathing, alcohol, anger (adrenaline is bad news, so skip extreme sports that spike it), stress, or fear. Note that I'm talking about a compromised liver; those of you dealing with Psoriasis don't necessarily have liver issues.

My apologies to the moderator if this post sounds like I'm promoting something; I give you my word, I don't manufacture any of this stuff, and this isn't self-promotion.🙂😉

Why doesn't the logic you're using on me apply to you?
Get off this forum—you handful of people just chatting amongst yourselves—and let the actual crowd following this site speak up. Maybe then we'll hear something actually new and intelligent.

A new member joined a few days ago. In his very first post, he asked about something specific. We've only seen one more post from him (two total). That’s how it goes with most of the new members lately.

Keep in mind, there are tons of people following this forum from all over the country. Nobody gets involved because you small group just flips through page after page, recycling old, exhausted topics that haven't improved anything for anyone. And you bring a massive amount of aggression to the table (using those terrorist icons and little devil emojis), especially whenever I type even a single letter here.

This isn't your private property (nor the moderator's). Don't try to impose your own rules on everyone else; if something bothers you, then don't participate. (And if that applies to me, it should apply to you too.)
Give others a chance to say something.

Lida74 and the other satisfied members probably stopped showing up because psoriasis isn't their main life concern anymore, and also because I never pressured or forced anyone to promote me.
You guys exert this incredibly aggressive and frustrating pressure on every new member who refuses to use the hand creams or the products you use—the same stuff you claim is terrible for you, even though none of them have any lasting effect.

just one thing

it's sunny out, it's
but life's long. maybe you'll learn 🙂

Honestly, I feel a lot better now that I see you actually learned. Be a good person and teach the rest of us what you know.

Everyone jumped in at once to answer my questions directly. Blunt and specific. Makes me wonder why.
Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
silentheron25 said:So you're still just stubbornly trying to push your nonsense on everyone else. Nothing worked for me after the 15 days they said it would take, nor after a month. So I stopped applying it. Don't get philosophical with me; I can see right through you. You don't have psoriasis, so you have nothing to write about every single day. You really don't. Go find some basketball forum or whatever. You have no business posting here. This space is for those of us actually living with psoriasis.

You’re lying to yourself first, then trying to convince everyone else just to justify your own behavior. Wouldn't you agree that you're just trying to make yourself look right by flooding the place with noise? Quality over quantity.

Copy and paste my actual post where I claim something "has" to happen within 15 or 30 days.
You mixed up my posts with Dragonov's.

If you can't give me a precise, concrete answer to this specific question, you'll just be showing everyone exactly who YOU are, not me.

Try to make sure your posts reflect your own actions and thoughts—that's why we have them, not to act as a mouthpiece for someone else's (my) ideas.

Peace. I'm staying around, obviously.

silentheron25 said:Regarding my condition, I'll be honest. I haven't been applying anything for a few days because I'm back from vacation and just don't always have the time. Sometimes I'm too exhausted and just go to sleep. After a month of constant application with almost zero results—and now being behind again—I'm a bit frustrated because I expected at least some minor improvement.

Nice guy. If I caught that right, he stopped applying stuff for a few days since his vacation ended and said he just didn't always get around to it while he was away.

Man, honestly, the only two useless functions on this entire planet I actually use right now are copy/paste.

Look, if anyone wants the truth, they can find it here because everything is documented. Don't point fingers at people or act like you're saints (especially when the biggest saint stopped acting like one).
That’s why I tell new members to read through every single page. Once they do, there's no need for all this chatter, and they won't keep asking questions that have already been answered. It stops people from acting smart by just spinning their wheels, considering we've already covered pretty much every cream, ointment, scented hand lotion, tea, or herbal therapy out there. Plenty has been written about all that, and half the private pharmacies in the country have basically used this forum as an ad space. Sometimes I wonder if our "noble" moderator has a personal stake in this, which might explain why she gets so personal with me.

Do I really need to say it? I stand by every word I've said. That's why I'm here with you guys every day.

Sophia Campbell73 said:Hey everyone,
Sorry if some people thought I went quiet because I was unhappy. Like Michael Ramos3 mentioned, my schedule is just packed. It doesn't leave me much time to post often, even though I'm checking the threads regularly.
I’ve already talked about how I’m doing (it's actually going great), but my work schedule makes it hard to stay strictly on top of the therapy routine. All the large patches I treated this summer are clear now. The tiny spots left are still just tiny spots. Even my nails have finally regained the shape they lost four or five years ago.
Bottom line, I'm happy with the results. If my skin isn't 100% clear yet, that's on me for being too disorganized to stick to the plan.
Best to all the members here, and a special shoutout to Michael Ramos3 and his family!

Been gone for a while. Most of my time is spent working out of state now, plus I just got back from vacation, so I haven't posted anything. Honestly, nothing major to report other than the fact that my skin is still clear after using the ointment. I have to admit, it’s great when people stop asking what those red patches on my head are, and being at the beach without people staring at my chest was a relief. Just so we're clear, I'm not treating my skin with anything else; I only use standard shower gel and shampoo 🙂. I see we have a new member, phyto, joining us. Welcome to the forum—having a professional like you here is actually useful.
Since phyto mentioned all those ingredients that help with psoriasis and how tricky it is to balance them when making mixtures, maybe he could drop some addresses for herbalists (colleagues he knows) in the major cities (Washington, D.C., Miami, Seattle, Columbus). That way, people can go see someone in person for advice or to buy supplies. Personally, I wouldn't mind if he shared his own contact info (if he owns the shop or works there), but I'm not sure if that violates the forum rules regarding advertising. I'd suggest checking with the admins first. If they don't allow it, I'm sure we can always exchange recommendations via PM.

The amount of ego in here is unreal. How much energy are you going to waste trying to make sure no new member accidentally tries something that might actually help them?
I don't get what your goal is either. (Especially the moderator's.)
-Can I post a link to the documents I have?-
Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
It would be helpful if the new members actually put in some effort and invested some energy into what they should care about—specifically, reading through this forum from the beginning for their own good.
They’d learn plenty since this thread was started back in 2003. They’d realize that Linda Chase81 is one of the longest-standing members here and see her diagnosis, her experiences, and everything else she or others have posted.
As it stands, this is just another useless post. If you count mine as two, and then Linda Chase81 replies, that's three, and so on. This is how forums expand endlessly without being constructive.

On other professional forums related to my field, the moderator handles this by issuing warnings and keeping things on track to actively manage the flow of conversation. I don't even need to mention responding to insults or other nonsense; that should go without saying.
But whatever. This is just how things roll here.

Please give me my post where I insulted someone.

You people just vent and then conveniently forget.

just some small-time entrepreneur selling ointments with unknown ingredients and origins🙂

don't get cocky and start throwing insults; instead, prove me wrong
show me you actually have certifications for your ointment, that it’s a registered product, and that it's sold in legitimate pharmacies
hearing about a positive experience wouldn't hurt either—you found customers here on the forum, but I don't recall seeing anyone raving about it, let alone being healed😉

If you actually did your job—assuming you even know how—you'd be sanctioning insults. I've told you a hundred times already, but you just stay deaf to it.
Since you won't ban him, I'll have to teach him some manners. And that's exactly how it's going to go until you start directly sanctioning insults according to the forum rules.

Where am I supposed to post certificates and registrations so you can see what you're looking for?

Pretty hilarious situation. Honestly, that new member's first post on this forum deserves a good laugh.
Come on, give us the full rundown. Share some of that luck you're having with the rest of us.

Look, I’m asking you not to insult me.
If you don't have the basic decency or self-control to manage your own attitude, maybe go somewhere where they can actually teach you how to behave. Where I grew up, we learned that kind of stuff at home and in elementary school.

I haven't insulted you once, so I have no idea why you're coming at me. It's not my fault you REFUSE to get better, so you end up only doing half the work. Anyone could figure that out just by reading your posts from the very beginning.

What "bank transfer" are you talking about? Go ahead, clarify what you meant to say.

Greetings from a sweltering Belgrade.

-It looks like Kate Williams41 and Robin Robinson8 are pretty worked up lately. In all that agitation, you’re making a lot of mistakes and getting your logic backward. Regarding the posts about our new member—you’re both just repeating exactly what I said, which isn't exactly groundbreaking insight since it applies to almost any early stage of this condition. So, don't act like experts; if you don't have anything useful to add, just stay quiet.

-If you feel like you need me, then I certainly need you too. It gives you a target to lash out at so you can vent your frustration and discontent. It’s a perfectly natural impulse—to get rid of nervous energy—and it's fine if you two choose to take it out on me. What isn't fine is thinking that venting somehow solves your problems or makes you some kind of warriors who've conquered life's struggles (like dealing with one shady local vendor, as our dear moderator puts it) just because you can't handle other actual issues.

-This forum is public; it doesn't belong to Kate Williams41, so anyone can read it. If you're dealing with mild paranoia, see a doctor. That’s a topic for a different forum entirely, so maybe go find one of those, or go see a specialist (just like how you tried to send me to one a few months back). You aren't the moderator. As for him, he is who he is—we didn't pick him and we can't fire him—so just let him manage the boards.

-With that much aggression and rage bottled up, you're going to have a hard time managing even the milder forms of psoriasis.

-I heard that eating a piece of chocolate helps calm the nerves. I used to do that before every big exam.

-The ancient saints used to say, "Don't try to change the world; change yourself."

Best, and I'll talk to you later.

Stop making assumptions and stop listening to everyone else's advice. No one can tell you what this is based on just a description.
Get to a dermatologist immediately so they can take a skin biopsy and run tests to confirm exactly what you're dealing with.
It seems like you shouldn't be applying anything to your skin for a while before they take the sample, and the testing process itself usually takes about ten days.
Basically, if you want to end this uncertainty sooner, hurry up and see a specialist.

To be honest, I hope you don't have to "participate" on this forum much longer.

Best,
Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
What was that, jadesailor14?
You can't come up with anything smart or professional, so you just resort to DMing me about my posts.

You're getting boring, and honestly, you haven't been professional for a long time.
But that's your problem, not mine.

God bless.

🤔 Weird. Really weird.
This is basically unheard of in market history—having a product where only the seller or the manufacturer is out there hyping it up. 😬

Dude, you clearly have a short memory.
If you're confused, go back and read the posts from people who aren't active here anymore (likely because of the exact effect I mentioned). They wrote everything out perfectly fine.
But sure, let's all just play pretend and act like those posts don't exist.
