I honestly thought people using your ointment would still be checking in here—especially since they promised to report back on how things were progressing. Sadly, a lot of them have gone quiet. I haven't a clue why—whether it's good news or bad—but, you know, purely out of solidarity, they should probably share how they're doing. I don't mean anything by it, truly. 🙂

I wouldn't bet on that—for me, the psoriasis flared up right after a heart attack, and 100% definitely after having quadruple bypass surgery. And what am I supposed to complain about? Seriously!!!!!! I got lucky, I'm alive, and I'm functioning just fine despite all the current crap I'm dealing with—not to mention, my "manufacture date" plays a part too.👍 👍 👍 👍 😉 😉
As far as I know, I'm the only one in my family dealing with this—definitely for at least four generations now. Modern medicine doesn't exactly label psoriasis as a hereditary condition. So, there shouldn't be any real worries when it comes to passing it down to kids.😛 😛 😛

Actually, I think we’ve got it backwards here. It seems whenever there's even a hint of something that could actually provide real, lasting help—allowing people to move past these tired old methods of just staying stuck in a loop—people freak out. You know, the whole routine of slathering on endless layers of ointments and creams from dawn till dusk, trying to convince everyone else that this is the only way (mostly just to give yourselves an alibi). Because, apparently, psoriasis is officially "incurable," and there's just no hope for us.

So, I’m flipping through the August 2007 issue of Walmart weekly, and I stumbled upon this paid ad for DERMACEL cream—apparently, they’ve got a new formula designed to help with burns, rashes, redness, and all that fun stuff. The big selling point, though, is that it's specifically geared toward psoriasis . It’s supposedly free from both cortisone and antibiotics. Has anyone here actually messed around with this stuff? I'd love to hear if it actually does anything or if it's just more expensive moisturizer.

I’ve got a quick favor to ask of you guys—I was trying to attach a photo to my post, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it work. The system's little paperclip icon is being super picky and says the file size can't be more than 9.5 kb. Honestly, there is no way I can shrink a photo down to something that tiny in any format without it looking like a pixelated mess.

The stuff I used provided some temporary relief too—and looking at the discussions here, it seems like plenty of other people have tried those "famous" treatments and "miracle creams," too—but like the song goes: you eventually have to pay the piper.
