Maybe try hitting up a compounding pharmacy. They make their own meds, so they might be able to tell you exactly what's in that cream... or at least point you toward a lab that can.
Is this stuff actually available at local pharmacies, or is it one of those things you can only
get online? If you could just drop the exact name and the price tag here, that would be great. thanks
So, isn't there some kind of vitamin or something that could at least speed things up a bit?
Sometimes my nail gets like this, and then a new one grows in and looks totally fine, but then a few days later—bam—it's right back to square one. Seeing that little spot just kills my mood. I'm currently using Dovonex, like I mentioned before, and honestly, it works wonders on my scalp and elbows, but it does absolutely nothing for my nails... hopefully, things turn around soon.!!!!
But let's be real, the most important factor in this whole thing is sheer WILLPOWER!!!
Hey guys, I've got a question for you. I'm dealing with some nail issues, but it’s not those tiny little pits people usually talk about. Instead, this spot appears in the skin right under the nail, and it just keeps spreading and spreading until it hits a certain point and finally stops. The skin in that area gets darker, and then it starts to harden up. So, I'm wondering if there's a specific vitamin or maybe a cream that can get this under control? It looks pretty terrible.🤷Also, is this even something related to psoriasis?
I’ve been wondering about something. Does alcohol actually mess with psoriasis or make things worse? Same question for smoking, too. My gut feeling is that the liver plays a huge role here, since it basically acts as the body's filter for all the junk we put into our system.
Hey fellow sufferers. I haven’t checked in for a bit because life decided to throw some curveballs my way. I mentioned before that I started using Dovonex cream, and while things initially looked up, I eventually realized that even with improvement, I might not be able to clear this stuff completely like I used to. I went to see a dermatologist—he’s actually a top-tier specialist, really knows his stuff—and he prescribed this scalp lotion since most of my issues are on hairy areas. Honestly? The lotion was total garbage. Not because the product itself is bad, but because my skin just refuses to react to it. Eventually, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started hitting the books and talking to people to figure out this damn disease. I ended up meeting this girl who worked for a specialist doctor over in the States who deals specifically with our situation. I asked her what she thought about Dovonex and if there was any actual cure for this psoprijaza nonsense. After a long talk, she mentioned there's also a Dovonex ointment that I hadn't even heard of. Just like the cream, I couldn't find it anywhere in Chicago or even around here. So, I decided to track someone down in Greece who could ship it to me, and I actually managed to snag both the cream and the ointment. I’m telling you, the ointment is absolute magic for the skin. I’ve been using the cream on my scalp and groin area, and I'm seriously happy because after less than two weeks, I'm already seeing results, especially on my head. My skin doesn't feel nearly as tight as it did before, which means I'm way less on edge. I apply the cream once a day to my hair and rub the ointment into my elbows and everywhere else a few times a day. Yeah, the routine eats up an hour or two of my day, but I’d gladly give up half a day just to stop feeling so restless. It's hard for me to stay calm through this, so there's no room for laziness. BE PERSISTENT. That is everything. I'm going full throttle now, and I'll write back when things improve even more. By the way, both the ointment and the cream cost about 15 bucks each. Cheers.
Hey everyone, quick question for you all. Is Daivonex and Dovonex actually the same thing? I feel like I read somewhere in previous posts that they aren't quite the same... What exactly is in Daivonex? Honestly, I'm getting a little anxious about what I'm putting on my skin. It’s really important to me that I'm using plant-based stuff rather than anything hormonal. Cheers.
placidfox7 said:There’s this one cream called Sorrell that has the exact same ingredients as Dovonex. You can pick it up at pharmacies in Canada; it’s basically $27 just calcipotriol. I just haven't made it down to Herzegovina yet.
Best,
Look, I don't know about any other options. My doctor recommended this specific stuff, and honestly, I’m not looking to play chemist right now. I've been applying this twice a day for about 15 days now, and I'd really rather not mess with the routine... I'm not sure if they carry it in Canada (specifically the actual DOVONEX), but it's an Irish cream anyway.... peace.
Hey everyone, I’m reading this and I just can't believe it. Seriously, people actually profit off someone else's misery? Man...
You guys mentioned they should just stay lost in the fog, but honestly? They should just jump off a bridge. Actually, even better—we'll give them a push! Absolute scum.

It’s based on calcipotriene, which is essentially Vitamin D3 that slows down skin regeneration—which is exactly what we're dealing with here. This stuff goes for about $10 for 50mg, but the catch is I can't find it anywhere in the city. I was wondering if anyone has found it locally and what the price looks like?
Hopefully, I managed to share something useful. Honestly, I just hope this crap leaves us alone soon so we can finally kick it to the curb.!!!!
Could you please explain exactly how that Dovonex works? Did it completely clear up those spots for you or what??
Give me some details, please!!!
Look, man, I've been using Dovonex for almost two weeks now (since the last time I posted here) and it's great. I'm totally satisfied. My skin has softened up so much that the scales are just falling off on their own. After a bit, even the redness starts to fade away. Compared to how things were, I'm doing awesome. I used that garbage Vipsogal before and it was absolute trash... felt terrible. Then I saw one of our local specialists and he recommended Dovonex. Since then, the only headache is that it's impossible to find anywhere around here. I tried ordering it through pharmacies, but nothing. I don't really know the trick for getting it online, so if anyone knows a way, let me know. It's definitely available in Greece, so that's how I managed to grab the first three creams—my brother was visiting there and brought them back for me.
So, there’s this Dovonex available as a gel, a cream, or even drops. It’s based on calcipotriene, which is basically Vitamin D3. It works by slowing down that hyperactive skin regeneration—which is exactly what we're dealing with here. The price is about $10 for 50 mg, but the catch is I can't find it anywhere in the city. I was wondering if any of you guys have luck finding it around here, and if so, what’s the damage?
Anyway, hopefully I managed to share something useful. Honestly, I just hope this crap finally leaves us alone so we can kick it to the curb once and for all.
Stay strong.
Alright guys, listen... I've been dealing with psoriasis since the 8th grade (I'm 24 now). I’ve tried just about everything you see floating around out there, from soaps like doctors recommend—which did absolutely nothing—to all those expensive creams from France that cost a fortune and were basically useless. Then, I heard about this one doctor who gets his hands on a specific cream from the States. I went to see my doc, picked up the cream, and paid about $50 for 50mg back then. By being incredibly consistent with applying it, I cleared it off my arms, knees, and back. The only thing left was the hairier areas, which I never quite managed to clear up. Later on, I found out I needed thyroid surgery, and I actually wondered if using that cream for so long had anything to do with it. Turns out, it had zero connection at all. Eventually, I switched to some Cherry ointment, and while it actually works, there’s a catch: it’s a steroid-based ointment containing two hormones and an acid. In my experience, the whole issue with these steroid creams is that they make the psoriasis vanish instantly, but once you stop using them, it comes back twice as bad. That happened to me personally. I stopped using the Cherry ointment because it spread catastrophically over my entire body. I was lost. But then I discovered Dovonex. I started using it, and honestly, I’m beyond satisfied. I’d highly recommend everyone give it a shot.
