Look, back here, there were people who were absolutely convinced they’d be forced into quarantine just because they’d been near someone testing positive—and by that, I mean extended, close, daily contact without a mask. But, they weren't officially flagged as contacts. I won't get too deep into those specifics. There was even one person who actually went to report themselves to get a test or an isolation order, but they were turned away because they weren't on any official contact list. And then what? What are those people supposed to do if they aren't showing symptoms? Just call their boss and say, "Hey, I decided to self-isolate on my own whim without any CDC orders, so please just give me some paid time off"?
On what planet would that even fly?

A colleague of mine just got back from quarantine today, and she’s claiming they didn't even give her a single phone call or bother to knock on her door once.
