coppergardener13 said:Look, if I actually decided to get nasty, I’d be way more offensive than you—and coming from "your crowd." I mean, you've called people on this forum idiots and morons more times than I can count—not to mention your constant "fak offff" nonsense. And then there's superhands, who actually wished HIV on a toddler through their father... if we're really going to start digging up dirt, let's go...

I have every right to speak my mind, and honestly, I still feel that way about "all of you."

The fact that you're still clinging to this says everything anyone needs to know about you. Anyone with half a brain is just going to ignore you or stop taking you seriously. It's pretty pathetic, honestly.

Are you kidding me? You're pretty much one of the top homophobes we see popping up in these threads all the time. If I felt like it, I could easily drop some of your most offensive posts right here as quotes.

So, homophobia...

Honestly, what a load of crap...

I already brought this up in another thread once. I asked my mom if being gay was a bad thing. She gave me a hard "yes," and even when I tried to explain that it’s not some kind of illness, she just shrugged and said, "Gay people are just gay," basically refusing to budge. Meanwhile, there’s a lesbian in our family—she just doesn't know about me yet. Based on my experience so far, I’m guessing this is how the average American thinks. People just hold onto these random opinions they've picked up and refuse to listen to anything else. Most of these debates feel pointless, especially on a forum. I think someone like that might only change their mind if someone close to them comes out. My mom is a pretty hardcore homophobe, so if I ever decide to come out to her, I’ll definitely report back so we can see if even the most old-fashioned people can change 🙂

Homophobia is fueled by historical regimes, low IQ, lack of education, and a total inability to empathize. I honestly don't get how anyone can hate or deny rights to someone based on who they love; it feels inhumane. Lesbians and gay men always get judged for their sex lives, yet it's actually the straight crowd that seems obsessed with sex, which is why they nitpick everyone else's orientation. Anyway, I’m not going to waste my energy on this right now; I have bigger things to deal with. If the time ever comes where I need to tell my mom and the rest of the family (like if I'm in a serious relationship with a girl), I'll do it. But just think about it: is it really human to freeze out someone you've loved your whole life just because of who they love? We'll see...
