I honestly think Before the Rain is easily the best war movie (and everything surrounding it) from the former Yugoslavia region.
You really have to see it on the big screen!!!!
The most gut-wrenching part is when the Mexican goes to visit his old school friend—an Albanian girl—and talks things through with her father, who is played by the incredible Abdulrahman Shalja.
Unfortunately, his name only shows up in the credits at the end of the film.
