Why can't I see certain users' posts or threads?

What we all want to know is whether this is just a temporary glitch or if it's here to stay.
Does anyone actually have an answer, or are we just left guessing?
To be honest, losing that specific feature feels like losing one of the most vital parts of this entire American forum.
It was my main way of keeping up with the people I actually care about reading.
Without it, my whole experience here is basically cut in half, if not worse.
But hey, whatever.
Exactly! 👍 We need regular updates explaining why this happened in the first place and when we can realistically expect a fix—and I mean a REAL timeline, not just some arbitrary deadline they push back every single week 🙂)?
If they actually wanted to fix this, it would have been handled ages ago. None of us have any idea what's going on behind the scenes because there’s zero transparency. It honestly feels like Reddit thinks it has a total monopoly on online communities and doesn't face any real competition, so they feel entitled to do whatever they want, whenever they want, assuming we'll just stick around regardless.
Almost everyone used that feature because it was genuinely useful, yet now we're just getting bombarded with nonstop pop-up ads 😠
Reddit should at least try to find some kind of middle ground. For instance, they could get rid of these obnoxious full-screen ads—which I'm sure are driving everyone crazy—until they actually sort out the search engine issue.
Honestly, the best thing we could all do is just stop showing up, stop posting, and boycott the site until this gets resolved. If half the user base just walked away, I bet this whole mess would be fixed within a few hours. ☕
