GTX and Dell UltraSharp combo

Hey everyone—I'm looking to pick up a 144Hz gaming monitor. I was leaning towards the Dell UltraSharp, but my current GPU doesn't support G-Sync on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX. Is this still worth grabbing? Will I actually be able to hit the full 144Hz with this card? Thanks in advance for any help.
