Best third-party toner options?

And don't even get me started on those "macro-micro" guys—I'm surprised they aren't selling livestock feed at this point. With Xerox, you know they aren't messing around with cheap junk from overseas; you can literally hand them your own toner and get the exact same thing back. I work in graphic design, so I need my blacks to be deep and solid. I tried buying some toner online from various companies for dirt cheap, but the quality was so bad I almost tossed my printer out the window. When I asked about the warranty, they just tried to push a different model on me. Then they claimed the printer issue wasn't their fault? Like, what am I supposed to do, fly all the way to Taiwan to get it fixed? It's ridiculous. I honestly don't know how anyone lets them stay in business.
Does anyone know if Xerox delivers outside of Washington, D.C.? Also, is it true they swap out the roller in every single toner cartridge?
Up until now, I've stuck to originals or used Inkjet replacements, which are decent, but they're still pretty close to the price of the name brands...
