Dealing with thrombophlebitis

It’s the same story for me... dealing with this thrombophlebitis. I spent a few days at the hospital and they poked and prodded me more times than I can count. Had a Doppler scan done and they confirmed the diagnosis. I've been applying heparin and taking antibiotics, but nothing seems to make a dent. My family doctor isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed... what am I supposed to do? It's been three months now, maybe longer...😢
