The machines are coming—resistance is futile, and assimilation is inevitable.

The robots are closer than we think... Walmart has been testing those "self-scan" kiosks in several locations for years now—no humans required.

Watched the movie last night—still processing my thoughts, I guess... I honestly can't decide. McConaughey and Leto are fantastic, definitely Oscar material.🙏🙏🙏 On the flip side, parts of it dragged quite a bit. Maybe I was just expecting more courtroom drama or some even dirtier schemes from Big Pharma...

McConaughey and Leto 10/10

Honestly, I didn't quite catch that part either—maybe he thought he wasn't allowed to interfere with the conception process, or something along those lines, specifically regarding his daughter...🤷

"Time travel" isn't exactly my favorite sci-fi trope—it usually just leads to plot holes and logical nonsense—but I have to admit, they navigated the pitfalls quite skillfully here. They didn't just limit his jumps to places he’s actually been (the situations he was personally involved in), but they also managed to de-emphasize the mechanics of the travel itself—much to the chagrin of hardcore sci-fi nerds, I suppose. There aren't any tired cliches involving two versions of the same person running into each other or those high-stakes thriller sequences where someone gets caught. The whole point of this movie is simply about living in the moment and appreciating life—family, friends, romance, all that. My one real gripe is the runtime; honestly, there was no need to stretch this to two hours. A tight 90 minutes would have kept things simple and charming, which probably would've earned it a higher score from me.

ps. Rachel McAdams is, as always, 😍

🤦 You probably shouldn't have said that—I mean, who knows what'll actually happen by then... Anyway, Ellen Page is one of those rare actresses who actually blew me away 😁 Proof that you don't need to be busty, curvy, or stripping in every single movie to be good 🤣 Either way, I can't wait...
Is having five kids actually worth it? in Psychology ·
Look, folks, you’re overlooking the obvious—it's standard practice now for every kid to have their own PC or laptop, and honestly, seeing toddlers handed a smartphone is becoming the norm. 🤣 So, go ahead, just imagine trying to manage five smartphones at once. 😁

Jokes aside, raising kids today is incredibly expensive, let alone trying to juggle five of them... I know money isn't everything, but let's be real—cash is a necessary evil if you want to actually function in modern society. I think one thing is seeing some idealized fantasy in a movie starring Steve Martin http://www.filmski.net/filmovi/643/popust_na_kolicinu and the other is facing the actual reality of life...
