Did my post get deleted? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Is anyone from the mod team actually going to deign to give me a straight answer as to why my post was nuked?
The person who pulled the trigger on it can chime in too.

Oh yeah? And why’s that?

The post I was actually responding to is the one that should have been banned and wiped from the board.

What exactly was the reason my post got nuked from this thread?
Is someone here just obsessed with me—deleting my posts instead of actually banning them? I highly doubt it.
If you ask me, it smells like pure ego and a little too much showing off how much power they have...

feraltrucker5 said:Look, it’s always been a dictatorship, and honestly, I don’t get why people cling to these weird little delusions like it isn't the case. 😕 I mean, let's be real—at the end of the day, one person (the admin) makes the call, and that's that. If you ask me, that pretty much fits the textbook definition of a dictatorship perfectly. 😁

Whining about a dictatorship doesn't actually move the needle; what actually works is using solid arguments to convince the admin of something.

So, here’s my unsolicited advice: stop spamming the thread, quit the bellyaching about tyranny, and stay away from the insults, because all that does is achieve one thing: the thread gets locked and someone ends up sitting in the ban corner.

There you go, consider this little lesson in Reddit diplomacy my good deed for the day. 😁 👋

I'm with you on this, and I'm definitely not complaining..
"Might makes right."

Honestly, they should just rename this sub-forum to something like:
"Messages, grievances, comments, suggestions, and feedback. How to make this Reddit better and more civilized,
specifically for those who have been Banned or received warnings they feel are unfair."
But since we already have a dedicated "Banned Users Corner" and a spot for appealing warnings, I really don't see the point of this place existing... 👋

This is a total joke, "Messages, complaints, feedback, suggestions—whatever you want to call them. How can we make this Reddit better and more civilized?" 🙏

And apparently, if you comment on how the moderators are doing their jobs—unless you're attacking one of them personally—you get a Ban 👍 which is exactly what's about to happen to me

They might as well just come out and say it's a dictatorship here and be done with it.

Drew Gomez said:No, look—those were just some disagreements we had here. And since I've been hanging around this place way longer than you have. You don't need to hell tell me anything—I’m basically your mother figure here. And you, dear Nikolina, really shouldn't be lecturing me on who I am. Maybe take a good, hard look at yourself instead. Your projection is a bit of a fail... honestly, your heart is just full of hate. I'm reading all of this.

Aha, suspicious. It's simple: I just can't stand people who act like they're better than everyone else... and I'll make sure people like that know exactly where they stand.

Hang in there, buddy—you might have better luck doing something else...

It's the global economy—you all have to deal with it just like we do.😉
Cheers!

Ethan Morales22 said:So you basically handed those streetcars over to Finc😁

Look, I'm telling you again—it wasn't about the U-shaped glass design. It was about technical performance, especially considering how the tracks are laid out in New York City.

I remember this happening years ago. Based on those specs, if they had used Končar trams, they would have been screeching constantly and dragging against the asphalt.🤷

.

Rough tracks😁

My guess? The wheel assembly wasn't even properly lubricated to begin with.😁

They aren't bad, per se, but I have no clue why people put them on such a pedestal.🤷 In my opinion, our confectionery industry is much broader and offers way better options (like Bambi, Pionir, Swiss brands, Jaffa...); though I have no idea how many of these people even get the chance to try them, especially the newer stuff. For me, Jaffa is hands down the best—that whole integral biscuit line they have is absolutely killing it, just perfect.

Are you kidding me right now?😁 Or do you seriously believe that was the real reason?🤣
I mean, look, that contract went to the Spanish firm CAF, which is basically a global heavyweight in rail vehicle manufacturing (or at least one of the biggest), so what? Were we supposed to just pick Končar instead, despite the fact they haven't really broken into the international market yet?😁

You've gotta be kidding me—since when did we start debating taste buds?!
Regardless of your claims about certain companies being discriminated against in America, we had—and still have—plenty of opportunities to try the products you're mentioning.

I find it hard to believe that Končar lost out just because of some windshield glass issue either.☕

If that actually happens and you show me the wrapper, I’ll return the favor by picking up a bar from the Animal Kingdom collection.☕

😁

Fine by me. 😁
Honestly, I don't care whose brand it is as long as it tastes good. 👍

Anthony James2 said:My bad on the typo there—I actually meant American companies operating in Mexico.

Yeah, sure, I'll try engaging my brain cells—but maybe you could give me a hand and tell me how to actually do that? ☕

You. You’re just acting—or maybe you actually are—tough.
Treat Mexican companies in America exactly the same way we treat our own. It’s only fair. 😲

So, that's the bottom line right there!

P.S. maybe even government subsidies

William Wright7 said:And what's your point about being at Camp Pendleton back in '87?...

Look, I was an idiot—I missed out on one whole summer, and by doing that, I also missed out on a good chunk of your compatriots hanging out at those resorts your companies used to run along the coast.😁
And there wasn't any way for me to make up for lost time because you guys lost that little privilege pretty damn quickly after that.
Oh well, that's just how life works.

P.S. maybe my take in the last post was a bit off the mark.

William Wright7 said:So what was the actual reason you were even there? Was it just shoveling snow or something else...

Yeah, there was snow😁 but that wasn't why I was there.
Look, unless you’re completely oblivious, I'm pretty sure you've at least heard of the standard twelve-month military service requirement—so try not to act like you're more clueless than you actually want us to think you are.☕

I was only 19 back then, 😁
and apparently, I was "fit for service."

William Wright7 said:So cutting back autonomy in Mexico counts as repression now? What kind of repression are we talking about here? Having the military on the ground in the early 90s is pretty standard if someone's trying to set up a quasi-state. And this whole idea about repression against Americans before '99... nobody actually recognizes that except them and maybe a few fanatics. No one said a word back then, and nobody from the US protested anything until '99 hit.

If stripping away autonomy is considered repression, then I guess removing constitutional status counts too... ☕

Well, I guess I'm in good company with the fanatics then. 😁

Whatever, man. It’s not my fault they drafted me into the US Army—and specifically sent me to Mexico during those absolute hellhole years of '87.
