Cocaine Bear (2023) in Movies ·
Despite what everyone else is saying—I actually thought this was a killer trash movie.

It totally caught me off guard. I was expecting some generic action flick loaded with tired clichés about a pissed-off bear hunting down people, but instead, I got this breezy, lighthearted dark comedy.
The humor is subtle—just enough to keep things moving with a few fun twists. Honestly, the only thing that bugged me was a couple of unnecessary scenes featuring bloody limbs being ripped off.
They could have easily cut those.

Definitely one of the better easy watches I've picked up in the last few months.
Dennis Martin6 said:All this whining about how it’s "wrong" to roast politicians and people in power? This kind of music is exactly what I like to hear. It perfectly shows off that pathetic, subservient little mindset. Keep it up. 👍

The only reason you dig this music is because you haven't actually thought about it, so you jump to some shallow, wrong conclusion.
The Beatles don't give a damn—they already won.

They leaned hard into the European media circus surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest, which is exactly what they wanted. They’ve always built their fame on being loud, weird, and provocative rather than just pure musical talent.

Look, I wouldn't have blinked if they’d gone on stage waving magic wands or shooting confetti out of their butts. Honestly, I wouldn't care if they spent the whole set screaming like donkeys, dressed up in drag, or doing some weird grasshopper dance that made half the audience cringe. That's just their thing.

...but choosing to stir the pot by taking personal digs at certain European leaders involved in this massive war? That's just tacky. It doesn't matter what they think about who started this mess.

Mocking specific people and using ad hominem attacks against those caught in a conflict only deepens the divide between people and nations. All they're doing is throwing gasoline on an already raging fire of hatred.

I’m not even weighing in on who’s actually responsible for this war that’s dragging all of Europe—including us here in the States—into it.
My take? The lion's share of the blame lies with Russia (specifically Putin) since they kicked off this armed conflict on Ukrainian soil. But even so, by using their song to mock and insult Putin, The Beatles are actively fueling the animosity between the sides. They're just adding fuel to the fire.

And that is the exact opposite of the "anti-war" image they're trying to sell right now.

In reality, it's the total opposite. Maybe this is just more proof that we’re living in a "new normal"—kind of like some bizarre Seinfeld's world where black is white and good is bad, and vice versa.

Now, The Beatles have added their own brand of immorality to this war. Too bad.

Canada is exempt from the European Union's oil embargo on Russia, which means they’re still going to be trading oil with them
Since ExxonMobil runs our local refineries, does that mean we Americans aren't actually sweating the fuel shortage anymore? And more importantly, are prices finally gonna drop?

Just like the boss
🙂

The Bulgarian energy minister just announced they had their May advance payment kicked back because it wasn't paid in rubles.
The Russians are basically saying: - "Here, take your euros and go buy gas somewhere else. We only deal in rubles here."
