Hey there! I'm looking to pick up a new keyboard with a budget of around $160. It's going to be used strictly for data entry tasks. I'd love to get your take on lighting—do you think backlit keys or illuminated legends are better for this kind of work? Also, if anyone has any specific keyboard recommendations, please let me know!

I actually checked all those options on the Best Buy website already, so I'll just pick one from there.
Drew Ramos77 said:Don't forget one crucial detail regarding what you were browsing on Amazon.com or other retailers across the USA: you’re going to get whatever keyboard layout is local to that region. If you order a laptop from a vendor in Germany, it’ll arrive with a German keyboard; if it's from Canada, you'll get a Canadian layout, and so on.
Well, I actually live here in the States, so that isn't really an issue for me!

To be totally honest, I don't really know much about the technical side of these laptops. I don't know which processor is best, how much RAM I need, or what kind of graphics card to look for. My main priority is just making sure everything runs smoothly so my games don't lag.
I've got my eye on a few different laptops, so I was hoping you all could help me decide which one to pull the trigger on. My main uses will be watching movies, browsing the web, and playing a bit of FIFA 23.

I just finished running some tests in AIDA64, and I’m looking for an expert opinion on what I'm seeing here. I'm trying to figure out what counts as dangerous versus what's just totally normal, since I don't quite wrap my head around these specific results yet.
So, I went ahead and installed everything just like you all suggested, and honestly, it’s running smoothly so far without any hiccups. Thanks so much for the help!
Man, if I could just figure out which graphics card I'm actually running and which specific drivers I need, things would be a whole lot easier 🙂 Anyway, let me know if you have a moment to help me out 😁
So, I tried disabling the integrated graphics and then toggled it back on, and suddenly everything seems fine again... hmmm, weird as hell, honestly. Anyway, he's heading in for a professional cleaning and a fresh install of Windows soon.
So, I just tried playing a video series on YouTube, and everything was fine for a few minutes until this weird grid pattern suddenly flashed across my desktop. The whole thing just froze up, and my laptop started making this strange buzzing sound. I had to do a hard restart just to get things moving again. My amateur guess? It might be an issue with the graphics card. Then again, I’m definitely no expert when it comes to troubleshooting laptop hardware.
I actually pulled my battery out a long time ago since it finally reached the end of its life, so I honestly doubt that's going to make any difference at this point.

I hear the startup sound when I log into the desktop, but everything is totally black. No icons, nothing at all... I restarted it a few times and then things seemed okay. Then, while I was on a Skype call with my girlfriend, a massive network window popped up on my laptop and then the screen went black again. I had to restart once more, and now it’s behaving. If you guys have any ideas, please let me know. Do you think it might help if I ran a system cleanup? The last time I did one was back in June.
I’m running into a bit of a snag here. My HPG62 laptop was working perfectly fine just a little while ago, but now I’ve hit a wall. Everything seems to be running in the background—I can hear the startup sounds and the usual notification pings once the icons load—but the desktop itself is just a total black screen. It’s like the system is awake, but I’m staring at nothing. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I’d really appreciate the help!
My professor just went over my term paper and told me I need to fix up the Table of Contents, but I'm honestly feeling a bit lost on how to actually do it. He gave me some specific notes on what needs changing—I've attached an image here so you can see exactly what he's looking for. If anyone knows the right way to handle this, please help! 😢 😢 http://upload.slike.com/slike/2014/0...x-52px-121.jpg
I could use a little hand with Excel. I’m trying to figure out which Formula to use for a specific setup... For example, if I select cells C5, B10, C13, and B21, how can I type a name into cell D8 and have that exact name automatically pop up in all those previously selected cells?
I've been running labs for about two years now, and my AST is consistently sitting around 80-85, while my ALT stays between 35-45. I’ve gone through the ringer with testing—tumor markers, hepatitis panels, pretty much every test you can think of, even stool samples—and everything comes back totally fine, yet those AST and ALT levels just won't budge. Now I'm stuck wondering if this is actually dangerous. A doctor I saw three months ago suggested I get a CT scan and a biopsy, but I turned them down at the time. Looking at these results now, I'm starting to second-guess myself... did I make the right call by saying no?
I was wondering if it's actually possible to have two different pages in Word with different lengths and widths? If anyone knows how to pull that off, could you please let me know? I really need this for a project... thanks!
