And yeah, you're right, they've improved massively. What's especially impressive is that this jump happened without them even bringing any major upgrades to the car. That alone is super promising and gives me hope we'll be seeing them on the podium constantly through the end of the season. 👍

Bottom line: it was an immature move and definitely his fault, but I get why it happened.

Basically, we're saying the same thing, there was just a tiny misunderstanding in how I wrote it. 👍 It’s actually a good thing this happened to Charles now—especially in front of the home crowd—because it'll keep him grounded and bring him back down to earth if he really thinks he can win this championship, which he totally can.

I like the guy, but Ferrari wasn't competitive enough in previous seasons to give him a real chance to mature and learn how to avoid these kinds of rookie mistakes. Now he's had the instructions, and I really hope he learns from this so he can come back stronger for the rest of the season. He still has a nice little buffer in the standings, so he needs to play that smart.

What a killer race! Seriously a perfect way to kick off the rest of the season. It’s such a bummer that Leclerc got caught up in that mess; he threw away points he shouldn't have, though thank God he didn't end up DNFing like he almost did.

McLaren looks incredible. This is looking seriously promising for what's coming next. They haven't even done any massive upgrades yet, and they're already lightyears ahead of where they were at the start of the year. Norris is just routinely 👍

Routine stuff from both him and Russell too—finishing P4 is something only the absolute best drivers could squeeze out of this year's Mercedes 🙏. Major Mercedes praise to his teammate as well for the hard work put in to secure that P14.

On the flip side, Sainz is basically being canceled at this point, and it's getting depressing to watch. No matter what he does, it's never enough, and half the time today wasn't even his fault. He's just handing people ammunition to trash him and claim Leclerc eats him for breakfast.

Look, a driver who cracks that easily under pressure when fighting for second place early in the season isn't the kind of guy who gives Ferrari fans any real sense of security or trust.

Yesterday, George mentioned in his interview that they have the car they have, and all they can do is squeeze every bit of performance out of it. Lewis, on the other hand, won't stop complaining about the car, basically saying it's so bad he's already given everything he can. It's a total difference in mindset. George definitely has the edge here because he's actually showing it on the track. And let's be real, it can't be easy for Lewis seeing his teammate consistently outclass him in the identical machine. His confidence has gotta be taking a massive hit.

Leclerc had a rough start today, honestly just like Verstappen did yesterday—too much wheel spin right off the line, plus his reaction time seemed a bit sluggish. Because of that, he didn't just lose ground to Perez, he actually got eaten up by Norris before he even hit the end of the straight.
