The only person who seems to find that controversial is you, because back then, the tribunal in Nuremberg convicted the very side you're defending, and today, the International Criminal Court has done the exact same thing... It feels like you're always rooting for the wrong side and convinced the rest of the world just has it all wrong.
The whole idea of retaliation depends entirely on who the victim is, since if you're dealing with criminals, it's just justice being served, but when it's innocent civilians suffering en masse, then you're looking at a criminal act... Boeing wasn't that kind of entity, and you really have to consider the historical context...
Let's just wrap this up, since it's all getting a bit pointless...
