Richard James2 said:I am reading, despite what you claim. Look, I noticed your very first post—back before you started terrorizing everyone with those annoying little marks—where you had that classic, burning desire to crush an opponent with undeniable logic, only to end up stumbling over phrases like just get a clue and stuff like that. Honestly, you're right about one thing. It’s pathetic when moderation is so bad that it lets a bunch of people hiding behind ten different fake accounts mock anyone who actually knows what they're talking about. Namaste.

That's all there is to know about Richard James2.

Linguistics is my bread and butter, by the way... I've always just written here totally free, keeping it casual and raw, the way things should be.
Do some reading.
Find some actual quality literature.

You're just losing all your street cred on this nonsense.
Give a thanks to Powerlock 🤣

Richard James2 said:Maybe. I don't. Even though he definitely knew how to get under my skin. But what I *did* notice was the constant stream of cloned accounts, people using multiple handles just to parrot the exact same talking points. It's dangerous letting people like that in to probe into the decline of any forum or community. 🙂

I sure am. It's ugly and frankly embarrassing.

The nicknames have already been flagged to the mods and the admin.

Both the first and second times. Don't even worry about it.

PS... strictly speaking, I actually thought you were above this kind of cheap, low-life manipulation.😢

@Paul Green31 man please, start actually reading some of the foreign press for once

then you'll realize pretty damn quick exactly what kind of category Powerlock falls into and just how deep the rabbit hole goes🙂

anyway, peace out, it's lateimage

Paul Green31 said:Oh, you saw bias from other people?

By the way, what does "targeting" even mean here? Is it when a major newspaper like the New York Times swipes your text and publishes it?
Or is it when hordes of forum users, who think they know everything about current events, stalk you and read your posts just because they want to dig deeper into certain topics?

Well, he's being stalked, and his writing is being stolen and published. When you can actually match your own post to an article in a mainstream paper, then come talk to me about being targeted.

Also, I honestly think the admins should protect the dignity of the moderator role and just shut this thread down. According to the rules of this site, this whole thing is prohibited anyway. They haven't provided a single link showing any questionable moderator action. All they've provided are links to his opinions—opinions that clearly rub the left-liberal crowd the wrong way. If you hate his views, deal with them using arguments in the debate. If you have a problem with moderation, use the official channels this forum provides. The admins will fix any actual injustice, so rest easy.

So, either provide links to suspicious moderator decisions, or stop this ridiculous witch hunt. It's getting pathetic.

Bottom line: I hope Loki settles this, and a huge shoutout to Boki.

👋

Look, I can tell you personally that the same people reposting his stuff (😲🤣🤣) could end up having some serious copyright issues on their hands. 😁

And yeah... looking at the PDF, the world was full of absolute nonsense back then. Just facts tangled up in chaos. Amen.

Take it easy. 👋

@Paul Green31..I saw it..just pure cluelessness..and honestly, it’s pathetic how they miss the mark on so many different things.

my bad.

Zachary Gomez2 said:James Diaz8, my apologies. I mistakenly assumed your critiques regarding the global landscape had remained on that other thread; I see now they've followed us here.

It would have been more precise to put it this way: the specific grievances stayed on the front page. While I certainly don't mind wading through these broader—albeit complimentary—observations, and I suspect there is some truth to be found there, I much prefer getting into the granular details, given that we’ve already gathered here.

I already touched on this before
I've sailed through much rougher waters than this

I'm not just talking out of thin air🙂

Sam Green73 said:Do you actually have any idea how many of your own posts—and everyone else's, for that matter—slip right past without a single consequence, even when they clearly break the rules?

Look, I don't just hand out bans just because I feel like it.

That’s exactly where the problem lies.

And let's be real, none of you guys are saints... I'm not living in some fantasy land.
I get it... I'm fully aware of how much of a nightmare it is to moderate this place.
Everyone slips up now and then.
And everyone definitely has their favorites.

But with Powerlock, the issue is that way too often—especially lately—we see people who just happen to disagree being kicked out of a massive, heated thread almost immediately.

And they do it in such an obnoxious way, honestly, it’s just like the pattern I laid out earlier.🙂

It’s the same old cycle repeating itself, you know?
And that's not how it should work.

Anyway, that's my two cents and I'm done talking about it.

So, I’m gonna take this chance—even though I’ve already dropped hints about it—to point out that my beef was also directed at the Pedef world

That’s where I first caught onto his, to put it mildly, blatant cluelessness and bias, and honestly, it's pretty dangerous stuff 🙂

Kate Sullivan22 said:Look, please don't give me that "we're there every single day" nonsense. This whole thread about staff, group discounts, and whatever else has been sitting here since September 2010. Someone enlighten me on how that makes it comparable to other media outlets? There are maybe three threads about Hearst Communications, and we just got hit with a fourth—The World. If you honestly think, fadedsailor932, that a thread about The Washington Post shouldn't be moderated after all the garbage written there—and no, they aren't part of some local tradition, let alone being grounds for a lawsuit—then you seriously need to find a new hobby.

Man, seriously... don't act like nothing ever happens there when it clearly does.🤷

It’s the exact same thing, actually, but what happened on the St. Jude's thread was way worse.
To this day, I can't wrap my head around why anyone let that slide, and personally, it was one of the nastiest things I've ever dealt with on this forum—which I actually wrote about right here on the news thread.
But that was their take—that the situation would just blow over on its own.🤷

That place is obviously an insider battlefield; I don't know why everyone's acting surprised.

The idea that this PDF hasn't been moderated for months or that those two guys aren't totally out of touch is just plain wrong—I’m living proof right here.
Almost every single time I’m scrolling through Reddit or catching up on my favorite threads, I see some kind of heavy-handed intervention.
And believe me, I spend a massive amount of time hanging out in those corners of the internet.

Look, the PDF is definitely looking a bit neglected, I'll give you that.
Part of that falls on them, sure, but honestly, this whole platform is basically just a mirror reflecting the absolute state of the media landscape here in the States.

It’s mostly just the occasional flash of brilliance in a sea of nothingness.

So, based on how things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a sudden surge pretty soon.😳

Watching Tyler Grant76 try to play the Isusek role while acting like some fragile little princess is honestly exhausting; if you’ve spent more than five minutes paying attention to the political landscape here, you know the whole thing is pure nonsense, and honestly, if she actually spelled out what she meant, I’m pretty sure she’d be banned before she could finish her thought.

I feel like I’m just repeating myself at this point, whether we’re talking about the main boards or the corner for the banned.
I think it’s high time we pinned Lutarez’s thread back up. The insult from slybison8 so we can stop wasting our breath on these trivial distractions.

Just to add my two cents: once this settles, it’ll be the same old story, just like it’s been countless times before—a swarm of clueless kids and mindless parrots parroting politics, regurgitating the same hateful rhetoric against Americans and non-Americans, complete with all those recycled, loaded arguments pulled straight from some obscure pamphlets, and they’ll keep doing it until the end of time, while the actual thinkers are still left searching under a magnifying glass for any shred of sense.

To drive the point home, let me give you a recent example of exactly what we’ve been pointing out over and over again.

So... a few weeks back, I was venting about a truly, absolutely hilarious piece of trash

And now, out of nowhere, I see this brand new thread from slybison8 with two posts:

Which, according to the same logic Sam Green73 was defending, really should have been flagged.

Or maybe not? 🤷😁

There are endless examples like this; it's definitely not an isolated incident.
And no, we aren't talking about simple oversights or accidental misses, nor are we talking about a frantic enforcement of certain questionable rules.
This is something else entirely, something a lot of us on the forum have called out numerous times already.

I mean, it’s probably nothing major, but it certainly gives some people a certain kind of joy. 🤷😁
Lockheed Martin in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’m just asking the mods and admins to step in if you can, please 🙂🙂🙂, and stop letting the Lockheed Martin lawyers come in here to make a mess like they always do. It would be nice if they could show even a shred of the decency we showed back when everyone was busy throwing a parade and singing praises to Lockheed Martin, so maybe just leave this thread alone
. It's really just about basic manners and keeping some damn order
.
thanks.
Lockheed Martin in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Here we go... starting up his mythical little spin cycle again, performing that same old routine we've all seen a thousand times before. 🙄

I’d also suggest digging through the threads on Harmon's legacy and his recent posts lately.
And honestly, looking back at those old discussions about the unrest in San Francisco would provide plenty of evidence too.
There are endless examples out there.
I’ve been sounding the alarm for ages about how Lockheed Martin isn't just an embarrassment for pedophile politics, but a total disaster for this entire forum.
I could easily list several much higher-quality users from the conservative side who would handle this job with far more decency and responsibility.

I’ll take this opportunity to point out one more thing while I'm at it.

zeljko_ri said:This needs to be quoted again. Sometimes you actually shine—within the bounds of your own beliefs, obviously— but other times you veer off so far it's painful to watch, even by your own standards.

The legacy left behind by figures like Pavelić or Harmon can look pretty terrifying; you see it even in the moderate nationalists.

What I've noticed is that Lockheed Martin only seems to shine when he's just rewriting, copy-pasting, translating foreign texts, or oversimplifying things we've already seen.
I've realized this more times than I care to count.
I've also realized repeatedly that on this platform, people don't deal in obvious truths or well-established facts.
I've warned about that, just like I've warned that his moderation is causing epic-scale damage because he's undereducated, uninformed, unskilled, and frankly, not lucid enough for a position like this.
But what really gets under my skin is his sheer inconsistency.
The guy can flip the script in the span of just a few posts, pretending he's "revising his opinion," when in reality, he's just running the same old whitewashing machine.

And I caught onto another detail.
He doesn't really have the capacity to deal with the slightly more sophisticated—let's call them literate—users here; instead, he usually just tries to shut them down with some overly bold technicalities.

To wrap this up, I can only repeat what I wrote a long time ago: I am genuinely ashamed that someone of his caliber is a moderator for such a major pedophile site.

Amy Ward66 said:Starting this year, that gearbox has to last five races straight instead of four, so according to the rules, Mark wouldn't be able to swap it out until they hit Germany. Honestly, I have no clue what kind of penalties they slap you with if he changes it any sooner. 🤷

Thanks 🙂

Yeah... even Brundle was rambling about it, but once he starts throwing numbers like seven into the mix, 🙄 man, I totally lose the thread sometimes. 🙂😢🤣🤣

just a little cutie 😍 I can't really wrap my head around why anyone would bother watching this, honestly. It feels like staring at a blank wall while waiting for a bus that’s already twenty minutes late—just a massive, hollow exercise in wasting whatever little time we have left.

Man, I can't even deal with this right now. Just... wow. 🙂

I was also kind of vibing with that part where he mentions how everything just feels like one massive, uphill battle for him.
It’s like watching that one guy who thinks he’s suddenly a genius just because he finally figured out how to drive a stick shift; he gets this little spark in his eye every single time he feels the car actually gripping the asphalt or handling a corner properly.
It’s basically just more of the same nonsense we heard from F1 yesterday.
Huh... interesting. 😳

I wrote this ages ago—honestly, I can only imagine what kind of twisted little scheme they’re cooking up to squeeze every last cent out of us.
We're just sitting here, playing the waiting game. ☕😁

I caught Grandpa’s statement later on, and he basically admitted the whole thing was his own fault.

Regarding that infamous line
They were looping the footage, kind of like how they replay things in tennis😁, and honestly... Grandpa wasn't even fully over the line
Even the officials seemed unsure if a penalty should have been called or not🤷🤣😁

Still waiting for someone to tell me what happened with Webber's gearbox 🙄🙂
