What an absolute disaster of a race, especially when I consider that while San Diego is hosting two separate events, they’re looking to scrap Spa entirely; honestly, they might as well just pull the trigger and end the whole thing now.

Honestly, this is the most repulsive track on the Formula 1 calendar. It’s as grim as those sketchy late-night movie theaters you find in parts of Asia. All that concrete, those walls, the seating... it’s just ugly. There’s really only one street circuit worth watching...☕

It’s the same crap every single year. Honestly, I just hope they dump this absolute garbage of a race as soon as humanly possible. Even if it means leaving a hole in the schedule without any replacement at all.

Vitaly Petrov😲 gets off scot-free. First, he messes up Grandpa, then he ruins Mark Webber's position. And don't get me started on how he chased Kamui Kobayashi for two or three laps behind the blue flags—neither he nor the stewards gave him any grief at all.😂

The STR performance was impressive, especially those Algiers vibes.🙏 🙏 🙏

The fact that I breezed through all these posts in about 30 seconds tells you everything you need to know about how much fun that race actually was.🤣

What are you guys whining about... I’m saying we swap Spa-Francorchamps for the Pakistan Grand Prix, Monza for the Russian Grand Prix, and Silverstone for the Indonesian Grand Prix. Give the race winner a little golden Bern statue, and let's get a massive Hermann Tilke monument at every single track. The guy is basically the Albert Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci of circuit design ☕

I suspect the issue lies squarely with the track itself rather than the engine mapping, given that it wasn't even prohibited during the race and McL started in third. We shall see what happens at the next race.

It is funny how the "second" drivers always seem to be the ones struggling—Webber with the gearbox, Felipe Massa with the starting issue, Jenson Button with the Button KERS, and Michael Schumacher with the cross.😁

There were two decent overtakes to speak of, specifically Jenson Button making an uncharacteristic move and Fernando Alonso utilizing his DRS, though even those moments feel somewhat hollow when you consider the rest of the field was stuck on identical strategies; it seems Pirelli is slowly regressing into Bridgestone, and frankly, we would all be better off if they reverted to the tire compounds used eight or nine laps ago.

I honestly don't get why they're so hesitant to just create another Monaco. If you look at the numbers, the viewership for that race is easily double what we see for almost any other event on the calendar...

From what I can tell, they didn't even utilize the full length of the DRS zones on either circuit, and frankly, the whole spectacle was about as exciting as watching paint dry. If they have the technology at their disposal, they should actually use it to make things interesting.

Honestly, since we're already talking about Paul Ricard hosting VN France, they should just ditch Miami altogether instead of putting a legendary track like Spa on the chopping block.
