Mosquito bite wounds!

I had the exact same thing happen last summer, and then just three days ago—it bit me right on the cheek! Now I’m stuck with this huge red mark that won't stop itching. I tried everything from St. John's Wort oil and Aquaphor to insulin, but honestly, it's only the Hydrocortisone that seems to be doing the trick. As for those purple bruises? Last year they just faded away on their own after a while. Seriously though, what kind of mosquitoes are even out there leaving marks like this???😕
