And when will it finally clear up? I feel ridiculous scheduling an appointment with my doctor just because of some broken capillaries... 😢
Two days ago, I noticed this dark purple bruise on my upper eyelid, right along the lash line. It started out about 4x3mm, but it’s been spreading steadily and is now closer to 10x3mm. There was no injury or accident; I just caught it in the mirror while getting ready. My eyelid and eye don't hurt, and there isn't any swelling or lumps—just a flat discoloration, almost like someone bumped me while I was applying makeup...
It’s been two days now. I didn't want to run to the doctor for what looks like a simple bruise—maybe a capillary just burst from stress or something. But I have to wonder if it could be something else. Can a bruise like this be a symptom of an underlying issue? I don't want to just sit here waiting for it to clear if there's something I should actually be doing... 🤷
