Right. But last year at Suzuka 2018, Max's penalty against Kimi Raikkonen for the exact same move was considered justified? It’s always the same story—you Vettel fans just love your double standards. Thank God the stewards don't follow your logic. ☕

Hahahahah! Unbelievable.
He wouldn't have done it. How old are you, anyway? Ten? Go to bed, you little critic.
Practice laps are underway.

I have some firsthand intel for you. Lewis Hamilton dealt with a hydraulic leak on his car this morning. The crew is still grinding away at it back in the garage.
Good afternoon, gentlemen.

The Ferrari fans here in Montreal have absolutely lost their minds. I’m sitting here in my Mercedes-Benz gear, surrounded by nothing but a sea of red.

Sebastian Vettel put in a stellar lap. Ricciardo finally looks like he's woken up, too. Tomorrow is going to be a real nail-biter. I can't shake the feeling that Ferrari just doesn't have the long-run pace to keep up with Mercedes-Benz.
Here’s what Sebastian Vettel had to say, which pretty much mirrors exactly what I observed at the Ferrari garage today.

"We ran into tire issues yet again, particularly when it comes to maintaining pace over a long stint. We'll need to sort this out during Practice 3, because securing a solid starting spot is absolutely critical."
Everyone is complaining about the tires. It’s actually quite warm for this time of year here in Montreal. None of the three compounds have really proven themselves yet. In my estimation, the soft—the C5—is going to be incredibly short-lived. That explains why Valtteri Bottas spent so much time out there on the hard compound.
Given that temperatures are expected to climb even higher this Sunday, I’m leaning toward Mercedes right now. Lewis Hamilton only managed eight laps, so it remains an open question what kind of mode he’ll actually find himself in tomorrow.
It seems to me that Mercedes handles the medium and hard tires far more effectively than Ferrari does. Since those softs aren't going to last long in this heat, I see a clear advantage for Mercedes.
Here I am, just lounging by the hotel pool. And right there in front of me, Kai EBEL is soaking up the sun on a deck chair.
If you’d actually paid closer attention during Practice 2, you would have noticed that Lewis Hamilton only managed eight non-representative laps. Valtteri Bottas spent most of his time running long stints to prep for the race. He was mostly on the hard and soft compounds; they didn't even touch the medium. And yet, he still finished just -0.134 behind Charles Leclerc.
Beyond that, I was watching the trackside action myself, so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

As for the Ferrari development situation, here is a link—read it. Try reading between the lines, too. Maybe then you'll actually grasp what's happening.

Based on what I witnessed out on the track today, the competitive landscape in NASCAR is looking pretty grim. It’s no secret that Ferrari has already pivoted their focus toward developing next year's car, and word around the paddock is that Red Bull is following suit.
Here are a few more shots for you.
Perez is walking away.
So, here we are in Canada.

Not really. I don't follow the Raptors much.
I’ll be attending the Canadian Grand Prix this year. I will attempt to capture a few photos if circumstances permit.

Whether we agree on everything else or not, one thing is absolutely certain: Charles Leclerc is a generational talent. He’s going to be a World Champion. It’s just a matter of when.
Nobody can predict how this season will shake out, but what he pulled off this weekend was nothing short of phenomenal. Hats off to him.
Even what Lewis Hamilton said to him in the cool-down room—if you can even call it that—says everything about how the veterans and multi-time champions view his potential. It's a shame he didn't take the win, but he'll get there. He’s got a long road ahead of him.

Give it a rest. You're being tedious.

Good grief, Charles. I actually feel for him. It’s just not happening for Ferrari; they simply can't get it together. They need someone with a heavy hand to actually run this team. These Italians always seem to find a new way to blow it.

Sebastian Vettel is a master of the pirouette. He ought to audition at the Metropolitan Opera.
