What kind of tree is that in the background? 😉 😁

Like Sep with his Williams or Damson with Jacques 🤣

I’d throw Crotomy and Mass into that mix too 🙏

My reaction was just pure instinct—a bit of a joke because she actually saw Pat's move coming, and I was just laughing at her. You get what I'm saying?

Honestly, we aren't going to be having any real discussion here, because if being blunt means insulting McLaren, then fine, let's just leave it at that.😠
Go ahead and enjoy yourselves, whatever, it's all good 🙏; at the end of the day, smiling is what matters... though I suppose it depends on
your own character whether you're doing it because someone else is having a bad day or not....
And yeah, if my slightly unhinged way of talking—which is pretty much how I am because this sport drives me crazy—offended a fan and a fellow forum member, then my apologies for the delivery. 🙏

Well, here’s what happens when your boyfriend just can't get the job done....🙏

She isn't just a psychic, she's basically got a crystal ball 😲 I didn't start arguing until after she made her prediction, not before...🤔

And like slybison8 said, we definitely earned ourselves plenty more of Lewis Hamilton's tires on a spit back in 2007. 🙂 😁 😁

Good grief, as if that one wasn't enough to deal with already...😲

If it doesn't end up being Lewis Hamilton taking the title this year, I honestly don't know what the champion is even going to walk away with; instead of a trophy, they'll probably just be handed a pile of burnt rubber. 🙏🙏 One big win and two smaller ones to round out the podium spots for first, second, and third.😂

Seriously though, for everyone out there messing around with that Lewis Hamilton doll...🙂

It’s honestly like watching someone’s shoe fall apart right as they’re crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon.🤣

And to all those furious Lewis Hamilton fans out there, I’m telling you to pull your heads out of your asses 😍 and stop blaming us for some random 😍 nonsense 🙏

What are you even 😲 talking about with the head out of your ass comment....

I think I might just turn to heroin today...🙏 🙂

Just to deal with the tire blowouts, the cheap booze, and... Sunday, a few laps...

Some kind of wizard really pulled this one off....🙏

Don't act all high and mighty and lecture others when you wouldn't even dream of crying if something went wrong with Alons's or Vettel's car. If it really bothers you that much when someone celebrates, just say it with actual words instead of hiding behind those little emojis. Is that really such a hard concept for you to grasp?

Look, sweetheart, don't take your attitude out on me.🤣

I was being perfectly clear: when have I ever actually celebrated someone losing a position like that?
READ THE POST, honey. It doesn't matter who it is—if someone from the other side was driving like a total beast and then lost it all because their car turned into a piece of junk, I’ll give them my respect for the drive, but I'm certainly not sitting here typing away with a massive grin on my face about how great it is.🙏🙏

Man, just watched that interview with Hemic 😁 He's looking bright Hemic red 😁 though he's rambling on about how there's still plenty of races left in the season and all that nonsense 🙄 He wraps it up by saying No worries! while flashing that sour little smirk he’s been wearing lately 🙂

I have to ask, do you get some kind of twisted thrill when things go south for someone else?🤣🤣 I mean, I'm glad for you, but maybe dial it back a notch... I'm currently cracking open a bottle of warm brandy just to cope with this conversation.😢

Thanks, I'm just about to order some buckshot for my shotgun... once I get a chance, I might just head over there and pay them a visit.🙂

Nicole Reyes97 said:I don't know why you're trying to lecture me when you clearly get a little kick out of seeing everything go wrong for the McLaren drivers. 🙄

When was the last time I actually felt any joy watching someone lose a podium spot on that final lap?

Don't try to put words in my mouth or peddle lies like they're some kind of truth. 👎

Where can I find the closest Bridgestone shop in Washington, D.C., if we’re starting from near the monument... I need to go ask them a few things.😢

And here's one for all you folks waiting around for someone's engine to blow up...

Roger Wright94 said:Yeah, this post is basically just a summary of everything I've been saying lately. Honestly, I’m just praying for rain or for Red Bull to completely fall apart, just so they might show some mercy to the rest of the field. It's pathetic.
I'm sick of it.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't care if the championship stays "exciting." I like seeing the strongest, most dominant force win.
So, I actually want to see Red Bull steamroll everyone—since Ferrari isn't even in the hunt anymore—and take the title the way Michael Schumacher did back in 2002 or 2004.

If they're truly this dominant (like we saw during qualifying today), they should be winning the race by at least thirty seconds.
That's the only outcome that would give me any reason to compare them to the early 2000s Ferrari era (or the McLaren run from a decade before that).

Bottom line, I'm expecting an absolute execution; anything less would honestly leave me feeling a bit let down.

See, I look at it differently; when someone is sitting in a car that's clearly in a league of its own and just demolishing the competition, sure, they deserve an A, but I'm not going to worship them or turn them into some kind of deity, mostly because I find myself rooting for the drivers more than the geniuses who designed the car... For instance, you have one car leading the pack while the two drivers behind them are putting in some of the best drives of their lives—which is exactly what we've seen this season, especially with Lewis Hamilton—so I'm certainly not going to tip my hat to Mark Webber just because he managed to limp his car across the line half a second ahead of everyone else while the guys chasing him were actually giving this new era of F1 some hope. Of course, I'm just talking about how things have played out so far... I'm not trying to predict the future. 😁

Honestly, I’m fine with them letting Fernando Alonso walk without a penalty; the fine they slapped on Ferrari was such a joke it felt like a judge sentencing me to nothing more than a single deep breath🤣🤣
In the end, everything settled itself out... I have no idea why everyone started making such a massive scene about it🤣 🤣

stormybadger8 said:Yeah, Red Bull is just on another level during qualifying, but races are a whole different beast, whereas Brawn used to dominate the full race distance while still being decent in qualifying. As a fan of Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel, I’m not losing any sleep over Ferrari; my only real concern is whether McLaren or McLaren GP might pull off some kind of surprise before the season wraps up.😉

All things considered, this was a pretty dull race with a result that looks like this:

Sebastian Vettel takes the championship lead
Red Bull jumps ahead of Ferrari and is breathing down McLaren's neck in the constructors' standings

I’m not entirely sold on this trend of qualifying speed versus race pace, because while it's true that McLaren performs well on race day, the reality is that Red Bull would probably be sweeping every single win if they weren't such terrible tacticians—especially since the track stayed bone-dry without any sudden weather shifts to shake things up. You can't really claim that kind of qualifying advantage when everyone starts with the same fuel load, only to see them lose all that momentum once the race actually gets going...
Everyone is going to be pushing hard until the end of the season, but man, it’s tough seeing someone like Mark Webber leading the pack of top Formula 1 drivers today... Congrats on the pole, but I think you know exactly what I'm getting at here...
Anyway, you deserve a beer for this one, because those teams are clearly hitting their stride.😉

Thomas Morales13 said:Yeah, it really feels like Red Bull is playing a completely different sport right now.
Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button, Schumacher, and even Kubica—they're all within half a second of each other, which is standard enough, but having Mark Webber sitting a full 0.8 seconds ahead of Hamilton is just getting ridiculous.
We didn't see gaps like this last year at any single race, except for that one outlier in Malaysia where Red Bull absolutely demolished everyone, and I'm starting to worry this kind of dominance might become their new normal.
Looking back at the last 22 races, this is only the second time we've seen this level of practice domination, following that one instance before last, and now here we are again. It feels like Red Bull is operating in a league of their own compared to these other cars, and honestly, it’s probably going to wreck the championship fight. 👍

Look, the reality is that Red Bull is just better at qualifying than anyone else during this stretch of the season, maybe even more so than Brawn GP was last year. McLaren has actually managed to close the gap in development despite starting with what was basically a rolling trash can, and while we're currently sitting in second for performance, we'll catch up to Red Bull—it's just a matter of whether we can pull it off before it's too late.🤷
