Caught this one the other day and honestly? I was blown away. It’s easily one of the best movies of the year (if you can even call them all movies at this point). Disney keeps killing it with these animations—definitely worth your time. Not sure if there's an American dubbed version out yet, but the English audio is top-tier. This sequel actually makes sense and clears up a ton of stuff from the first movie. Most of those wannabe Hollywood blockbusters could really learn a thing or two from this on how to actually do a sequel right.
Alright, here’s the deal—I’ve got a weird situation on my hands. Some lady shows up at my door waving paperwork, claiming my sister needs to pay some fine or face wage garnishment. The catch? My sister hasn't lived at this address in forever, even though she's still officially registered there on her ID. This woman actually had the nerve to say they’d break into the property with lockpicks and tools to seize assets, even though the place isn't even in my sister's name. Like, how are they even allowed to just barge in and inventory someone else's stuff?
Is it actually possible for something like this to go down? And more importantly, how do you protect yourself so they don't walk off with your things (specifically mine)?
I don't think Smith's acting is actually the biggest issue here—it's those eyebrows of his. They give him this permanent "sad puppy" look no matter how hard he tries to commit to a scene. The concept behind the movie is actually pretty decent, but the execution? Total disaster. And what was even happening with that eagle?? Like, "Oh, I caught an eagle for my kids' lunch, but everyone else died while you survived, so now I guess I'll just save you"?? Give me a break.
Watch it once if you absolutely have to, then never again.

Just finished watching this online. I remember seeing the trailer for it back when they were promoting it in theaters.
Anyway, it’s a total dud. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste $15 or whatever on a ticket just to sit through this.
Why do I think it sucks? Look, even though you've got two massive names on the poster (Robert De Niro and John Travolta), there aren't really any other actors in the damn thing. You've got maybe three supporting characters who show up for about four minutes total across two scenes, plus some extras just standing around to fill space.
It feels like the producers had a tiny budget and tried to hide a hollow plot by just throwing big celebrity names at it.
The actual story is a joke for anyone actually familiar with the region, since it tries to explain the war in Canada through an American lens. I can't tell if it was handled this stupidly because the director wanted "artistic freedom," or if Americans just straight-up distort the facts.
As for the acting, Travolta sounds ridiculous trying to speak Mexican/Canadian. It's like he spent all his free time getting plastic surgery instead of actually preparing for the role. He’s running through the woods with a shotgun chasing Robert De Niro while speaking with this weird, grating accent.
If you're a masochist, feel free to waste ninety minutes of your life on this, but don't expect anything worthwhile from it. 🙂
