A ton of people deal with stuff just like this, and usually, they can manage it with nasal sprays. Your doctor will probably want to see allergy test results before prescribing some kind of spray therapy.

Do yourself a favor and check if you can breathe roughly the same through both nostrils—you know, after using those drops. If things feel asymmetrical, that usually points toward something that can only be fixed once and for all with surgery.

Anyway, you'll just have to wait and see what the doc says. Maybe the sprays will actually do the trick for you (nothing works for me, but hey, I'm just a 🙂).

I went in for allergy testing and turns out I'm allergic to basically everything under the sun^^ They put me on Claritin and Nasoflex, but it’s doing absolutely nothing for me... my nose is always stuffed up (actually, "congested" is more like it—when I try to blow my nose, nothing comes out... it feels like there's constant pressure inside)... the doctor mentioned I have a deviated septum, though it seems pretty mild to me... now I have to go see an ENT....

Well, that's exactly my problem... honestly, once I stop using the drops, it becomes impossible to sleep because I just can't breathe through my nose at all. I actually tried quitting them for a while, but I ended up crawling right back to the bottle...
Just a heads-up, I'm allergic to pretty much everything—dust mites, feathers, you name it. I think I'm going to head to an ENT specialist and see what they suggest. Anyway, the lady at the pharmacy told me to avoid surgery as long as humanly possible...

Man, I have the exact same issues... thinking back, it's been my whole life... one nostril is always blocked during the day, and my nose gets bone-dry every single night. None of those sprays or allergy pills really did the trick for me. My doctor put me on Flixonase and some Claritin, which helps a tiny bit, but it's basically the same old story. Now, I'm totally hooked on Operil drops 😢 because once I realized how amazing it feels to actually breathe "with full lungs" through my nose, there was no going back—if I don't use them, my nose gets completely stuffed up and I can't sleep... plus there's the head pressure, the snoring, all that junk... I'm seriously torn on whether to go through with septum surgery or not 😢
