mistyjackal842, thank you so much, but I don't think that'll be necessary. He actually ended up being admitted to the hospital after all, and they need to perform a procedure to clear out his vessels... I'm just holding onto hope that things will take a turn for the better once that's done...
I should have mentioned this earlier... the doctors at the hospital keep insisting that his veins look perfectly fine, even though his leg is clearly deteriorating... they’ve actually sent him home three separate times already, refusing to admit him...
Thank you so much... He was taking some Tramal, but honestly, it wasn't doing much for him at all. We actually managed to get his hands on something a bit stronger recently... The real issue, though, is that almost his entire foot has turned blue—it isn't just limited to his toes anymore... We're going to try using the Trental and see if that helps... Thanks again for everything...
Please forgive me if this is a bit off-topic, but I’m honestly at my wit's end and don't know where else to turn for guidance... about three months ago, my grandfather had two toes amputated due to gangrene... he isn't diabetic, but he does struggle with really poor circulation... everything seemed to be healing beautifully at first, and he was actually starting to feel better, but then, about a week ago, everything just took a turn for the absolute worst overnight... his entire foot has turned this deep, bruised purple color, blood is oozing from the wound site, and now these new sores have started breaking out all over his leg... it’s just a complete disaster... the pain is unbearable; he hasn't slept a wink in nearly a week. We’ve already rushed him to the hospital three separate times, but they won't admit him—they just keep telling him he needs to keep walking... but how on earth is he supposed to walk on a foot that's blue as a bruise, covered in open wounds, and screaming in agony?? They haven't even provided any pain relief or antibiotics... we are just devastated, watching him suffer like this is heartbreaking and we are completely lost... they refuse to hospitalize him... has anyone here dealt with anything similar? Is there anything he should be taking for the pain, or any specific way to treat this? And I wonder... would it be worth looking into Alternative Medicine, perhaps seeing some herbalists or energy healers?...
