A garage door crushed my fingertip, and I ended up in surgery to get it cleaned up. They had to stitch it, give me a tetanus shot, and put me on antibiotics because there was bone damage involved. It’s been five weeks since then; the wound has healed, though the scab hasn't fallen off yet. About a week ago, however, small lumps started appearing on both sides of my finger. They aren't overly painful when pressed, but the tip of my finger feels red and warm. My sedimentation levels are normal and my blood sugar is fine, but I am 70 years old...
Two different doctors have told me there is no infection, but they mentioned that the circulation isn't great.
Can anyone provide more insight on this or point me toward a specialist?
