The Sopcast application is truly fascinating 🙏

It offers an image quality that is ten times superior—clocking in at 4000 Kbps—compared to the subpar feed we used to get from Creator TV. That whole mess was triggered when they decided to move their entire setup out to a suburb like Naperville instead of just staying put in the main SPTV studios. It seems our friend with the ponytail has finally hit a reality check; things aren't exactly unfolding according to his grand design, are they?
Jason Campbell70 said:Don't you think this would have happened sooner if the track temperature had been about ten degrees higher?

There isn't a cloud in the sky, Sebastian Vettel takes the win, and both Ferrari and Kimi Räikkönen are far enough ahead that they aren't even in the rearview mirror at this point.🙂

The evo race 2 gp2 is getting underway, and here is everyone in the photos.
stormybadger8 said:Well, obviously he didn't. 🤷
He isn't even incompetent enough to mess up his pace during The third quarter and end up starting in row 5. 😁

BTW Sebastian Vettel won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway while your favorite never did... plus, Vettel actually has more podiums in the US than him, even though his F1 career is half as long as Alonso's... ☕

They clearly don't know how to build a car in Italy that remains so competitive that even when facing a deficit against the Red Bull Racing machine (Vettel), the performance remains virtually untouched, as if nothing had happened (US Grand Prix 2012).☕

One driver possesses a car so superior that they could arrive at the podium on two wheels and two rims, whereas someone like Maestro must exert 150% effort just to earn the opportunity to challenge the most dominant car in the universe.

That is precisely why Maestro earns such respect and admiration for weeks after outperforming Red Bull Racing, while Vettel? Nobody gives him a second thought.
stormybadger8 said:It’s obvious Ferrari has the fastest car on track right now, and honestly, Lotus is the only one even remotely close to them...
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz and Red Bull perfectly capitalized on those guys' sloppy pit strategy, timing their final lap in Q3 absolutely flawlessly...

Who knows what kind of chaos we'll see during the race🤷
Given these insane weather conditions, I wouldn't even be shocked if Jenson Button or Resta ended up leading after the first round of pit stops.🤣

Anyway, this race is bound to be absolute madness. If the Ferrari and Lotus drivers don't wreck each other out in the first lap, I fully expect them to be fighting for the win.
Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-Benz don't look particularly fast to me.🤷

You and your nonsense; if things were actually playing out the way you claim, Fernando Alonso would currently hold a 40-point lead over Sebastian Vettel.

At the start of the season, you were right there with the rest of them, writing extensively about those "magical" Ferrari engineers and their supposedly unrivaled machinery.

In modern Formula 1, Ferrari is little more than a legacy brand—a name they cling to while focusing their actual resources on road car development for the mass market.

Frankly, I cannot view Ferrari as a serious contender when Talijancic realizes, after countless years dominated by aerodynamics, that their wind tunnel setup was fundamentally flawed—only to finally begin reconstructing it at the start of this year.

Furthermore, I would afford you much more respect as a contributor if you would simply admit that Red Bull Racing has possessed the superior package for years; quite simply, they possess the ability to engineer the most effective package at any given moment, guided by the finest engineer in modern Formula 1. ☕
Megan Alvarez3 said:No, it just seemed fair to me. And honestly, I want it dry and sunny because it's blindingly obvious that Mercedes-Benz played their cards for rain. During the dry part of qualifying, they were nowhere to be found; Lewis Hamilton barely scraped into Q3 by being just 22 thousandths off. Plus, Red Bull looks worse to me on a wet track—meaning Ferrari and Lotus look better when it's dry. Personally, I'm looking for some actual tension, especially with Red Bull and Mercedes-Benz leading the pack... We've seen enough of those boring races already.

What kind of expectations could one reasonably hold for Ferrari? In previous years, I would have predicted they’d be fighting just to stay in 9th or 10th place after the first corner, watching the entire race unfold from the safety of their pit boxes.

I cannot bring myself to agree that the top three were merely lucky; rather, they demonstrated a clear understanding of exactly when to hit the track to maximize their lap times under those specific conditions.

stormybadger8 said:Joe landing in 9th place when he clearly has the fastest car on both wet and dry tracks is just ridiculous.🤣

Lewis Hamilton 🙏

How on earth does Hamilton manage to steal all the luck right out from under Adrian Newey and Sebastian Vettel? It truly is an invaluable thing to witness.
For the second race in a row, we are witnessing the same pattern: the pole position is snatched away in Q3 right after Sebastian Vettel sets a blistering pace, only for Hamilton to come along and absolutely strip him of that top spot. Is anyone else surprised by this consistent displacement?

I am anticipating a victory for Lewis Hamilton. It appears that Mercedes-Benz is currently utilizing the free practice sessions to rigorously test various setup configurations, all in a calculated effort to outmaneuver their rivals during Q3 and ultimately secure the win on Sunday. They seem intent on dismantling the entire Red Bull camp once and for all.

Is there any point in Ferrari continuing this charade? At this stage, it might actually be more dignified for them to simply withdraw from Formula 1 for a few years. Finishing in 9th and 10th place isn't just a setback; it is an absolute catastrophe. Why should Fernando Alonso even bother tethering himself to such a losing outfit? It seems they’ve become a magnet for oddballs who spend their days chasing "innovations" that yield nothing but mediocrity, all to secure a pathetic 9th or 10th place finish. Honestly, those engineers would have been better off spending thirty days relaxing by the Atlantic Ocean rather than wasting their lives in a factory or a wind tunnel, only to arrive at this level of utter incompetence. 😂

It seems the Italians have a knack for ruining absolutely everything they lay their hands on. Honestly, why don't they just call in the Englishmen to handle the engineering? I've had quite enough of this Italian mafia running the show at Ferrari.
There is honestly no point in even watching this Formula 1 race; the energy drink sponsors are once again dominating the landscape, and according to tomorrow's forecast, we are looking at rain. 🙂

Sebastian Vettel is almost certainly going to take pole position, because when it rains, he drives like lightning is chasing him down the entire track, turning his fastest laps into some kind of chaotic storm. ☕

It seems Mercedes-Benz isn't showing their full hand just yet, but one can only wonder what on earth happened during Ferrari's FP2 session. 🙂

I mean, what are they actually doing in those tunnels? Are they just sitting there playing poker from one race to the next instead of focusing? 🤣

Sam Wells5 said:Man, I don't even know where to start. I’ve been wrestling with these sales tax forms all morning, and I honestly feel like I just wasted a massive chunk of my day. I finally figured out how to sign everything, but by the time I got my head around it, I realized I hadn't even finished submitting the full batch. And then—just when I thought I was making progress—they go and roll out a brand-new version of the form! Now the system won't even let me submit anything for the June period. I feel like I'm about to lose my mind here. 🙂 Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this?

There is 😉

Once you navigate to the forms section, simply click the arrow within the sales tax form menu, and you should see the option for the period ending July 31, 2013.

Henry Edwards33 said:Look, if you're still filing using the "old" forms in June, what's the big deal? 🤷

In just fourteen days, we will have reached the eight-month mark, at which point the seven-month filings become due; should we not reasonably expect the experts at the IRS to have updated the digital forms to align with USA regulations by then?
IRS and Tax Filing Issues in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
What on earth is going on with this electronic tax filing system? 🙂

How is it possible that we still see these outdated digital forms—the ones used back before we fully integrated into the USA—cluttering the official Federal Government websites, even though the PDF versions supposedly follow current federal regulations? 🤷

When exactly does anyone intend to fix this mess? It seems their only solution is to force us to hand-deliver paperwork until they decide to show up during their annual vacation and deal with the fallout then.

The Federal Government employs an absolute army of people, yet they remain staggeringly slow at resolving even the most basic technical discrepancies. 🤣

I honestly wish they had just ripped the seal off Massu's gearbox for that penalty.🤣

The provocateur finally🤣

It was about time someone finally called out this nonsense and gave them a much-needed reality check.☕

I find myself disagreeing quite strongly; if Fernando is sitting in eighth, then Niko is simply going to slice right past him within two laps, likely risking a collision at Turn 1 just to make it happen. 🙂

Alonso goes for the hards while Vettel and Webber switch to a fresh set of softs.

Jason Campbell70 said:Are you seriously claiming a gap of two and a half tenths?

Good grief, a single pit lane transit takes roughly 25 seconds.
We are talking about a margin nearly 100 times greater than that. 🥳

I find it absolutely impossible to believe that Ferrari was running slower than a 1:30:00 pace.🙏

Just two hours after FP3, they finally found their rhythm once the sun warming up provided the necessary track temperature and the Ferrari setup actually started to click.

First there was Alonso, then Massa...👋

stormybadger8 said:in the end, if they hadn't...
Without that factor, they would have been quite frankly, disgustingly dominant; however, I find it difficult to believe they will actually catch Vettel, given that the gap is already rather substantial...

But it is almost certain that Mercedes will secure the Constructors' Championship...
While the fight for the Drivers' title will likely boil down to Rosberg-Vettel-Hamilton...
And that is precisely what will sabotage Mercedes; Ross will make his decision, Hamilton will lose face, and ultimately, Vettel will snatch the title.🤣

I wouldn't go that far; it isn't as if Red Bull Racing wasn't also struggling with their tire management.☕

Quite simply put, aerodynamics—which seems almost absurd given the octane cycle—plays a much more critical role than the engine itself, especially now that RPMs are being limited.

Once the engines were throttled back, it was like a wake-up call for a genius like Adrian Newey, and that is exactly why we are witnessing this level of dominance for the fourth consecutive year.

Yet, nothing is truly decided just yet; Vettel hasn't secured a win in July, so anything remains possible—perhaps divine intervention might tip the scales in favor of the others.

stormybadger8 said:But he was incredibly fast today, wasn't he? 😲😲😲
His time was a full 2 seconds faster than the best Third Quarter time from 2007...
Roughly 3 seconds faster than the fastest Third Quarter time back in 2009...
And half a second quicker than the Third Quarter times we saw in 2011...

And all of this happened during Practice 3... imagine what happens when they actually start qualifying.😲

Did they perhaps shorten the track layout?😕 🤷

Adrian Newey clearly installed an extra turbocharger. ☕

It seems the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone are simply choosing to look the other way, whether by blindness or sheer willful ignorance.

I find myself compelled once again to mention Ferrari; attempting to secure such a massive developmental advantage at the very start of a season is a gamble that only the Italians could take—those folks who seem more interested in lounging in the sun and swimming than actually performing the jobs they are paid millions upon millions to do.

Tyler Bennett5 said:Lewis Hamilton's car was dancing around far too much out there.
They have a mere two hours to fix those handling issues properly, otherwise, they can kiss that pole position goodbye.
We shall see if the Sauber team manages to find any pace, though one might suspect their performance is inversely proportional to their current bank balance.

Furthermore, this entire situation is utterly pointless; rather than witnessing epic battles for pole position year after year, we are left watching Red Bull Racing cruise to a +1.0 advantage as if it were nothing at all.🙂

I find myself profoundly disappointed in Ferrari once again, seeing them fall behind Sebastian Vettel by more than a second in qualifying.
