Dream 1. (About ten days ago)
I can still see one single image clearly: I’m staring out the window, and the frame is almost entirely filled by an owl. It looks more like a massive, sleek cat, but it’s definitely an owl with these enormous, pale blue eyes just staring at me. It just watches. That’s how I wake up.

Dream 2. (Last night)
I’m walking Times Square with a close friend from my college days whom I haven't seen in years. At one of those street stands where they display books and magazines, I spot photos of myself—from childhood, my youth, even the early years of my marriage.
I ask the vendor if I can buy them, and she just tells me to take them, saying she's glad I found them. As I start gathering the photos at the stand, I realize my friend isn't there, and since I left my phone with her, I have no way to reach her. I tuck the photos in a bag at my aunt's place and go looking for her. We eventually run into each other near the cathedral; she arrives by bus wearing a white dress, her black hair loose and flowing. Then I wake up. 😳
