I went through the exact same thing—it was all over my palms and the soles of my feet. My doctor eventually prescribed an allergy cream and some antihistamines, which did the trick.
However, after a while, the itching flared up again. Since it happened on a Sunday and I didn't have any actual medication on hand—and let me tell you, the itch was absolutely unbearable—I ended up slathering on some Johnson's Baby diaper rash cream instead. Surprisingly, it worked! Now, whenever I feel that familiar itch starting, I reach straight for the Johnson & Johnson stuff and it clears right up. I actually mentioned this to a friend of mine, and she bought some too; she says it works just as well for her. It might be worth a shot for you, too.

I’m honestly pretty terrified, especially since some woman told me that undergoing general anesthesia can shave ten years off your life—and I've already had a few procedures under it myself. Please, someone tell me that isn't true!
