The officials are at fault because they effectively stripped away our opportunity to close the gap and potentially pull off an upset with a bit of luck. It is true that the Americans played a superior game, but we would have been right on their heels if the referees hadn't disallowed two perfectly legitimate goals, handed out unnecessary penalties, halted three or four standard offensive drives, and dealt Lin 😍 a red card along with a four-minute suspension...
