For heaven's sake, just start spamming some content... this thread is dying out 🙂
Elizabeth Turner3, you showed up just to tear down every single artist and genre presented here, so why don't you actually offer a recommendation so we can see what you consider superior to this music...

If you’re going to dismiss everything, you ought to provide some actual substance to back up those opinions, otherwise, your arguments carry no weight at all...
👎👎👎👎
Then enlighten us, since we're all staring at you with nothing but hope that you'll finally clear the fog we're stuck in by introducing some actual Industrial...
Taylor Patel2 said:Look, at its core, this is disco music first and foremost, so you can't expect the kind of psychedelic experience Gristle or SPK would serve up... it’s more of a banal, stripped-down version, but... if Wumpscut is looking for some dark, gritty discotheque vibe, then sure, if he needs to summon the devil, reminisce about a twisted childhood, scream Soylent Green, or whatever else it takes to set the mood... he'll find it.

EBM isn't just some mindless club track you jump to; comparing it to standard techno or that commercialized American garbage is a mistake. There are plenty of intelligent people making insightful points here, if only you cared to look...
When it comes to lyrics, I find myself leaning heavily toward X-Fusion (though the music itself feels a bit thin 🙂), then there’s Actetic Perfection, who actually possesses a genuine knack for songwriting, followed by the fluid style of Dulce—provided, of course, one uses an online translator to finally grasp what they're actually talking about... and lastly, the heavy hitters like Hocico and the more underground vibes of Rabia Sorda (Save me fra my curse 🙂).
I’m feeling the music, but the vocals just aren't hitting the mark for me...
In my estimation, Racso Agroyam from Dulce delivers the most incredible scream out there, though I find it impossible to forgive how they've gone and processed it lately. They really should have just left that raw, natural voice untouched, it was pure perfection...

hmmm... when you really sit down and weigh all the variables, it seems Hocico is more about making noise than actually putting on a show☕
Taylor Patel2 said:It was already widely recommended in that other thread, so I fail to see why there needs to be a dedicated topic just for suggestions...

So, the conversation has finally taken shape... I find myself settling into this thread quite comfortably... 🙂

Taylor Patel2 said:Let’s be honest, Hocico isn't exactly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to stupidity, especially since there are plenty of others out there who are just as dim-witted... I might have been a bit too hasty with my judgment earlier...

Beauty is entirely subjective—some people might find someone like Paris Hilton attractive—and intelligence is equally a matter of opinion, though if you ask me, there are really only two words that define stupidity: reality TV...☕
Taylor Patel2 said:Hocico (probably the ugliest and dumbest group out there—and that's saying something given the competition—they're on stage, but their first album, which is just a compilation of demos, total garbage, titled 'autoagresion persistente', completely destroys 🙏 low testosterone sex 🙏 😍 )

I just caught up on this... I won't get into their looks (even though if you ask me, they look like they were practically born for this genre, especially early on)...

And regarding the claim that they're stupid... have you actually bothered to read any of their lyrics?...
Taylor Patel2 said:It seems you've all lost your minds here, though I suppose some of you actually have a point... Subject...

As far as I am aware, this thread was established specifically for sharing recommendations, so you might want to take a look at the opening post... 😉
Kevin Wilson9 said:hm, it’s not bad, though if you could just strip away all that screaming in the background, it would actually be great... does anyone know if there are a few tracks where it's just music, or at least where the vocals aren't so intense 😁, just without all the yelling 🙄

That "yelling" is technically called scream vocals 🙂

You have Zomie Girl handling the melodic female vocals, and then there's Rabia Sord, who sings on some tracks but leans toward the scream style on others, though true screaming is pretty rare from them
There are likely more artists out there, but those two are the ones I can pull from my own collection
I agree. Fed Up is a masterpiece, which is exactly why I included 🙂🙂🙂

No, this was actually what we had in mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqGO4pOmg4U
In case anyone actually cares to understand the situation at hand:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph0GtNfDuYw

Exactly!! 👍👍👍
In that case, you should definitely check out Dulc Liquido... they specialize in what's known as power noise, or just straight-up noise. Some truly incredible stuff has come out of their hands...

By the way, has anyone here actually heard of Sonic Mayhem? I could use some insight on them. I know they composed the soundtrack for Quake 3—which, if you're into Unreal Tournament, is an absolute essential from the turn of the millennium—but beyond that, I'm pretty much in the dark... They blend metal with dark electro... it's excellent work, mostly instrumental...
I feel somewhat obligated to point you toward the God module; while it seems to be a crowd favorite, it hasn't quite done anything for me personally, so if it resonates with you, then fine...
I’d also put Hocico at the top of your list, followed closely by Life Cried, which I’ve always been quite fond of, then Rabia Sorda, and perhaps some of the heavier stuff from Dulce Liquido—keep in mind both Rabia Sorda and Dulce Liquido are just side projects from two members of Hocico... then there’s x-fusion, where the lyrical content is excellent even if the music itself feels a bit lacking, and finally, a slightly more obscure pick like Acid Trauma. Those are my suggestions for you 👍
Aha... I have an account, but I never actually use it... it's practically non-existent for all the good it does me. My profile has been completely dead for months now...
hmm... last? could you be a bit more specific?
What I’m trying to get at is that you simply cannot lump the entire Goth genre into one single bucket when it comes to lyrics... just as you can't do the same for rock, metal, pop, punk, or rap
