Metallica's new album
in Music ·
I seriously don't know what else I can say about Metallica...
Honestly, this new track is killer. The vocals could use a little more polish, but that solo? Absolute perfection. Nothing better.
Every single Metallica album is a masterpiece in my book, and you honestly can't sit there and tell me the songs aren't great..
Here’s my personal list of the best tracks from every record:
-Kill 'Em All:
whiplash
motorbreath
-Ride The lightning:
Ride The lightning
for whom The bell tools
fade to Black
-Master of puppets:
orion
battery
master of puppets
-and justice for All:
and justice for All
dyers Eva
-Black:
enter sandman
nothing else matters
unforgiven
sad but true
-load:
2x4
ronnie
king nothing
-re load:
fuel
unforgven 2
memory remains
-st. anger:
st. anger
some kind of monster
frantic
(just saying)
I'm skipping Garage Inc because those are just covers....
And yeah, if I missed an album, don't come at me—I'm writing this straight from memory..
Oh, one more thing.. I saw this article in the local paper about Metallica. Quote me on this:
Metallica recording new album
Following the recent trend of recording retro-style albums, the guys in Metallica are jumping on board. They've shared some details about the new record, which is slated for a Spring 2008 release. The new album, which doesn't have a title yet, will be a return to their eighties roots and won't sound anything like the stuff we've been hearing over the last few years. Drummer Lars Ulrich confirmed that the new songs evoke that eighties vibe, promising "long, epic journeys through various musical landscapes—heavy, but also much more melodic." While the title is still under wraps, Lars mentioned they are currently playing around with a few working titles, such as "19," "10," "german soup," "glass cow," and "2black squirrel." The new material is being produced by the legendary Rick Rubin..
