Look, they’re obviously going to polish up the tracks before anything goes live. They haven't even nailed down the final tracklist yet. They've got about 25 songs sitting on the table right now to choose from.🙂

Metallica is just massive commercialized hard rock trash at this point. Ever since they dropped the Black Album, they’ve been waging war on their own legacy—it’s honestly pathetic. Then you have all that legal drama with Napster... just a bunch of arrogant billionaires led by Lars Ulrich, who is easily the worst metal drummer out there.

That’s exactly what I used to tell myself... back when I was just some wide-eyed sixteen-year-old kid with nothing but big ideas. 🤣

Regarding those new tracks, the first one is alright. That build-up before the solo and the solo itself? Killer. It actually gives off those old Metallica vibes. But everything else just sounds like it could've been filler on the St. Anger album, and I can't stand that record.

The second track isn't anything special either. Honestly, two pretty mediocre songs for a band this big. They’re still better than the garbage on St. Anger, though that's a pretty low bar to clear.

We'll see, though. Personally, I'm not expecting much. I don't want to get burned like I did with the last album, but I have a little hope. Based on their tour this year, they haven't sounded this good live in years.
