It feels like everyone is just pissing on the people who were calling out the ones doing the actual shitting... then you turn around and see everyone cleaning up for the guys who are fighting against those same critics. It’s just a massive, endless circle of nonsense.🙂

I honestly can't help but wonder what kind of mess they're actually going to put in his file. I mean, seriously, what does that even look like? It’s probably going to be a total disaster.
So, how exactly is this even going to be rolled out? I mean, seriously, what's the actual plan here? It feels like they’re just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks, and honestly, I guess I'm just skeptical about the logistics. Maybe there's a roadmap I haven't seen yet, but without some real details on the implementation, it all feels a bit half-baked to me.
🤣

wiredangler5 said:So, what's the deal? Are you actually going to make me an offer, or are you just gonna sit there waiting on that MEP who isn't even showing up? I mean, seriously.

Just sitting here waiting on the MEP.
I’ve always put my trust in those older friends of mine who have been in the service for a long time—you know, the ones who are clearly anti-establishment but somehow still manage to hold down their positions within the system. I mean, you really have to sit back and think about why that is. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Maybe there's more to it than meets the eye.
Yeah, I mean, it’s true—he was basically running that whole Tech and Surveillance Oversight sector for a long time. He really had his hands in everything there. Now, though? I guess he’s just stepped back to focus on the Olympics or whatever, kind of like how people suddenly disappear from the spotlight once they hit a certain milestone. It's funny how that works, I suppose. 🤣And besides, who actually holds all that stuff? I mean, whoever’s running the show is also sitting on your entire photo gallery, your audio files, your videos, and pretty much everything else you’ve ever uploaded. It’s kind of wild when you really think about it.
I really shouldn't be letting these transcripts out. It’s probably a bad idea, but here we go. It's basically a leaked conversation between an FBI agent—code-named "SMB, though she wasn't in uniform"—and some guy code-named "holy crap this cat scratches," just talking about how someone actually manages to become a supermod.
I mean, I really hope you guys will just be straight with me and give me all the paperwork I'm gonna need once this introductory phase wraps up.

The Congressman knows you’ve got him cornered, and honestly, I think the only way out is to grab the guy holding the leash by the throat.
Don't sweat it, the Congressman has been prepping for this exact moment.
And look, you gotta consider that he's the one who brought up those files in the first place. You really think that was an accident?

That Congressman basically has a PhD in playing dirty, while the rest of us were sitting around thinking the programming language Basic was just named after some guy named Basich.

Look, man, I hate to be that guy—and I know I’m always kind of nitpicking your stuff—but you just jumped right into the middle of my argument like a rabbit charging into a cabbage patch.
Just so everyone’s on the same page here—just for the record—the veteran mod is Mod1 and the new guy is Mod2.
🤣

Hey, get me in touch with wiredangler5 and redmarlin3. I want to see if we can actually pull together a plan to shut down this coupon-style privatization nonsense they're pulling, and maybe find some leverage so we can start trading papers for free.
😉

Jerry Martin19 said:No way in hell... you think I'm actually gonna DM velvetgull9 her password? Yeah, right. As if. 😍

Yeah, I've got that.
Look, the paperwork from the current system isn't even the real issue—you know, the stuff in these latest Vbulletina versions. The real headache, I guess, is all that mess left over from before the upgrade. That’s where the actual trouble lies.
You know how it goes, right? Like, when they rolled out that new system, all the old paperwork just vanished into thin air. Everything got lost in the shuffle, the entire database ended up completely botched, and now it’s missing half the stuff that was actually correct to begin with. It's a total mess, I guess.
Heh... let me think about that for a second.

Look, I’ve been thinking about this, and honestly, velvetgull9 was absolutely essential during all those transition periods. She basically hovered right next to the main admin at the CP, just waiting. The second the system clicked over for an upgrade, she’d be on it—moving lightning-fast to pull data from the top 380 most interesting targets based on a pre-set list she already had ready to go. I guess you could say she always knew exactly which buttons to push before anyone else even realized the system was live.
I mean, honestly, after every single draw, you could just check that "delete from database" box and call it a day. That’s pretty much it. Simple as that, I guess.

That cat’s got skills, I gotta hand it to her...

You just have to take their word for it, I guess... but hey, we’re all in this together... Hint: she might be my future daughter-in-law...

velvetgull9 is basically the Bormann of this forum, and I mean that in the sense that her specialty is clearly keeping her little party members firmly in control of the (forum) leadership...
So, if you ask me, I’d definitely watch my step...

Honestly, everyone else is just missing to complete a whole damn collection...
I mean, if you were actually going to pay off Willard, then you’d have to cough up for the whole spread—everything from those premium steaks to the slow-roasted BBQ and all that seafood that went down in the war, plus everything else coming out under the new era's terms. And then there's the credit debt to deal with, because man, there is a ton of that...
🤣

Like, who's actually footing the bill here?

Subject - Where do I even ask this?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"this is some pretty interesting info from my perspective...look, purely theoretically speaking, let's just say there's something on my mind, something bothering me. I'm wondering where I can go to get some clarity on my question, but specifically within this group of ours (and I'm saying this because I don't want anyone trying to pull some shady scheme on me involving fake doctors)... I'm asking, where can I ask something without getting screwed over by having my thread deleted, or god forbid, getting banned or something? Thanks to all those experiences and lessons learned, I'll pass."
thanks a million"

Prile after his thread got nuked

Then another time he asked why he got banned for not using a question mark at the end, so they wiped his thread. So he opens a new one, adds the question mark, and writes: "Maybe you guys didn't get it, so I'm adding a question mark..."
🤣

And you know what, I already started an initiative to gather all these posts together and I managed to save quite a bit. But half that crew got banned. I wonder if all these posts could be pulled from somewhere. It's a bit of a long shot, but I think if they could be, we could probably talk about money too.

Look, I’ve actually got this top-secret dossier on Willard that Richard Perez3 managed to pull from the UN archives before they scrubbed it. It basically lays out the whole playbook—which forum users you have to trash just to climb the ladder to moderator, and which moderators you need to suck up to if you want to become a super-moderator...

Trust me, that intel is worth way more than anything regarding Willard. Honestly, the only thing worth paying for when it comes to him would be his deleted posts...

That’s exactly what Manolic, Boljkovac, and Perkovic were claiming back in '91.
And yet, you still see people buying into their nonsense...

As for watching it: My dad thinks it's better than yours, so I guess it's a decent enough show (though it feels like a total waste of time, kind of like using a grenade left over from the Gulf War)

I guess I’m just playing by a completely different set of rules here. Maybe I’m some kind of double agent or something.
But seriously, who are the actual collaborators, the informants, the snitches...
And who's actually out there recruiting them?
Honestly, lately, I’ve started looking at every single priest in the clergy with a massive amount of suspicion....

@velvetgull9/">@@velvetgull9, you and I both know exactly why my profile doesn't have a single user note on it. Even among the mods, there are people working for the other side. And trust me, it wouldn't be good for anyone if my notes ever went public....😉

Man, just imagine if those FBI snitches had a little button that said: "Report this post." That would be such a godsend....
User dossiers? Does this forum have its own CIA and FBI? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
How would you even label that?
Is there anyone in the mod squad who puts together a condensed profile once they've gathered enough intel...
Kind of like those school reports: "shows great literary potential, but struggles with social integration."

So, I was reading through some stuff and saw this mention of "user notes," where an old-school mod basically tells a newbie, "Hey, check the user notes to see why you got banned last time."

Now, I think everyone on this board is dying to know what’s actually buried in those files.
Do we even have any right to know? Like, where can we go to see exactly what some forum spy decided to scribble down in our files to get us flagged?
Are we allowed to actually challenge or push back against the facts they log, or are these user notes just going to stay top secret, hidden away from us common folk?

I mean, I’d really love to know what, say, Willard has written about me in my own user notes... 🤣

From your perspective within that self-proclaimed Golden Mean, you seem to harbor a deep-seated disdain for anything even remotely extreme, which inevitably leads you straight into some pretty harsh stereotyping. To you, everything just boils down to a binary choice where there isn't one: it’s either Michael Adams2 or Phoenix, or it’s Michael Adams2 or Sarah Wilson95. You constantly reduce the world to a simple matter of X versus Y.

It just can't be that way. You see, the whole point of it all is that we don't have to think exactly alike; the beauty lies in our differences, in the fact that we are a diverse, colorful collection of individuals, and all that other stuff.

To be perfectly honest about this Politics subforum, it feels like they’re actively enforcing a certain kind of conformity. There is this relentless pressure toward uniformity where you aren't really allowed to stand out or offer a unique perspective. It feels as though you have to blend into the crowd and think exactly like everyone else just to fit in. If you dare to express an independent opinion or deviate from the established consensus, you're immediately branded as an outsider—basically treated like a zero or someone who simply doesn't belong to the group.😁Listen, you absolute mercenary—you’ve got horns growing out of your head and scabs everywhere you shouldn't have them... well, you know exactly what I mean.

Things have honestly spiraled to such an absurd degree that everything feels completely upside down lately. You look at that specific Pack, the ones constantly screaming for attention and demanding recognition while they hold Anderlon and his entire circle of advisors hostage, and it’s just wild. They aren't just asking for a seat at the table anymore; they are actively forcing their own distorted version of reality onto everyone else. It’s become this absolute ultimatum where they claim they are the only ones holding the truth, and if you dare to disagree with their vision, you are immediately branded as being wrong.

Good grief.🙄🤣 Can you even wrap your head around how far things have actually come? True or false.

And that is exactly why this country is headed straight for a disaster. We are constantly being fed these completely distorted narratives about World War II, the era of the Great Depression, organized crime, and those messy periods of privatization and systemic corruption. It’s all twisted, and it's driving us toward total ruin. The founding father built this nation from the ground up, so don't you dare come around here trying to mess with my little corner of the universe. Just pack up your things and head home. My grandfather was a good man who stood by his principles, and I intend to honor that legacy. I’ll be out here working my own land, reaping what I sow, because there is a certain peace in loving exactly what is yours. I have no patience for the anti-Christ types—those communists and Masons—who try to tear down everything we've built.

There is no financial crisis, no meltdown of neoliberal capitalism, no mounting debt, and no theft, robbery, or violence—there is simply nothing at all.

There is absolutely nothing to see here.

It seems they’ve gone ahead and "banned" Thompson from performing in Pula, which feels like a bit of an overreach if you ask me. It’s honestly such a shame to see that kind of censorship happening.

So, you're telling me you aren't a fan of Thompson? Honestly, that just seems like such a dull, unimaginative take to me.
🤣

You just don't get it, do you?
To me, you guys are all exactly the same. YES. YOU ARE!!!!
I mean, based on your writing styles and those little formulas you’ve been perfecting over the years in here.

The left-wing ignorant trolls, the weird right-wing nobodies...

You’re all just one big breeding ground for trolls, a massive nest that’s been spamming this Forum for years.

It isn’t about having an opinion or a stance.
The issue is that none of you actually respect anyone else's views; every single thread just devolves into some ghost story about your ancestors' old grudges.

Maybe when you finally stop being obsessed with those ghosts can we actually talk about things like Georgia as just a place in the Caucasus, instead of using it as a convenient excuse to push your own ideologies.
I just don't understand why you don't get involved in actual Politics, since every single one of you has the opportunity.
If you took all that energy you spend typing out endless walls of text here and actually channeled it into a career, I bet you’d all be pretty successful. You definitely have consistency, I'll give you that.

It’s the exact same deal with religion.
Religious and political fanatics are totally unacceptable to me, and any sane society looks down on them. But on this Forum, they basically run entire sub-sections, dumping their mile-long manifestos everywhere.

I don't think the problem is my perception of you, it's more about your perception of yourself.

If this Forum went dark tomorrow, you political types would probably lose your minds because you’d lose the only place where you actually exist. For you, this isn't just a hobby; it’s your entire life.

See? I get you...
Sarah Wilson95 said:😵
I haven't quite grasped what your actual problem is, other than the contradiction of claiming you don't participate in Politics while seemingly knowing everything about it.

Regarding Phoenix—since he can't respond to you because of his permanent ban, and since you seem so eager to praise him, if you aren't actually afraid of a banned user, I suggest you head over to OFF or his specific corner to discuss the things that are bothering you.

I am certainly not acting as a secretary for you or him, but I'm feeling generous enough to offer this bit of friendly advice.😁

Look, you don't seem to realize that I actually feel bad for people who write me these massive, mile-long messages only for me to delete them without even reading them.
I have zero desire to talk to Phoenix. It's not because I hate him or anything, it's just... I'm not feeling it. If I did want to chat, he'd probably end up posting in Politics more often just to argue with those guys who are basically just failed ideological essayists, whether they're on the left or the right.

If you really want to understand where I'm coming from, here's a link to a thread.
I think everything will click for you once you see it:

http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=366186

If it still doesn't make sense why I stay out of Politics after that, then please, just let me stay in my ignorance. Don't make me feel like I'm obligated to explain myself to you.

Edit: @Jeremy Sanders46
For what it's worth, I actually love your posts in History—your knowledge of coins, castles, and all that stuff is pretty great.
🙂
Stop whining.
Phoenix got permanently banned, and honestly, it was deserved.
The same thing needs to happen to about 20 other people over there.
You keep claiming things haven't changed in years. Well, the people haven't changed either. Just look at the same old faces popping up on both sides...

And frankly, why do you even care what I write, what I read, or why I give a damn? All I know is I posted three times in the Politics section with this handle before the wolves started circling me. Since then, I’ve just been avoiding Politics altogether.

Look, I’m not some right-wing extremist or anything like that, and I don't hate anyone. I just hate violence. And you guys? You’re all just wallowing in verbal abuse.
I’m not a leftist, either. I can't stand the extremists on either side.
Is that clear enough for you now?

And tell the Phoenix crowd and their little brigade to stop blowing up my inbox with these long-winded ideological personal attacks.
I really don't feel like cleaning out my mailbox. I could probably just set up a free burner email and give them that address so they can clutter that up instead...

The main issue is that you and maybe five other users think Politics belongs to you. There you go...

Christian Wells6 said:How curious. Though, truth be told, I haven't read the whole thing. I simply don't have the inclination. My visit here was motivated solely by the desire to invite a few specific individuals over to another Reddit community I frequent; as far as this Politics section is concerned, I’ve spent a grand total of three days here, and frankly, that feels like three days too many.

To be precise—I’ve been handed a red card, all because I decided to start a discussion regarding Istria.
The entire forum strikes me as utterly pointless. Who holds the reins here and why? I couldn't care less. And why exactly certain topics bother the moderators? That is even further from my interests. However, if you are asking whether they are collectively politically illiterate—they certainly are.

The only individual I managed to engage in a proper debate with was driftingdriver, and I didn't give a second thought to whether he held any moderator status or not. He is a remarkably high-quality fellow, though we clearly failed to see eye to eye from the very beginning—which, I suppose, suggests that the level of discourse and socialization these forum users are accustomed to is rather subpar.

And yes, driftingdriver—it was for your sake that I came.
