That approach seems fine, I suppose... but I am having some trouble because total video Converter 3.11 won't seem to recognize the specific format of the file I downloaded, which means I can't convert it into an mp3 or a 3gp file.

It seems to be quite an interesting program... I went ahead and installed it (Microsoft 0.704), though I suppose it isn't functioning quite right.🤷
I gave it a shot, but I guess it just isn't working...

I was wondering if there might be a specific program designed for downloading protected music...
Essentially, you find a music video that you can watch and listen to online, yet you aren't able to actually download it to your computer.
Or, perhaps more specifically, does a program exist that could at least extract the audio from a video, even if it cannot download the full video itself?
