Heart attack?!?

I dealt with the exact same thing. Turns out it was just my cervical spine and some serious muscle spasms.. I had this sharp stabbing sensation in my chest—left side—and my left shoulder and shoulder blade were killing me.
Honestly, I thought my heart was giving out. I rushed straight to the ER for X-rays, an EKG, and blood work, but thankfully everything came back perfect.
I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that neck muscles—which felt hard as rocks to me—could trigger such a massive wave of anxiety and those sharp pains.
Don't spiral on me! Just get to a doctor and take it one step at a time..
