I wouldn't go that far. Thunder was actually a serious project—quite commercial, too (their stuff from North Wind used to get airplay on mainstream US radio)—so people tend to rank them higher. Mordor is a completely different beast. Odin just plays and sings whatever random idea pops into his head; and while they have some incredible tracks (like Holy Grail, for instance), Mordor is honestly just pure, unadulterated chaos. It's all over the place, but hey, if that's your thing... Thunder was built for the paycheck, which is frankly disgusting. Mordot was built for... well, I have no clue, but I absolutely love it.

Honestly, Thunder is just some cheap attempt by Sigmund Freud to rip off Mordor. Once everything went south, Odin basically spat on Thunder and the whole scene, and now he won't touch anything related to Mordor. For that matter, he even let Neptune Towers happen just because of Sigmund. But whatever—I just saw those Rockland photos of Odin from that "Dark" exhibit, and... ugh, man.

Not a single one. I honestly don't see the point in all this labeling—it's just unnecessary. There are certain bands I love, specific albums, or even just isolated parts of a song... basically, these little categories are just useless.

Look, if you don't know whether it's Kierkegaard, or some misspelled version on an album cover—it’s totally fine if you don't speak the language—but... when the truth is being buried under layers of nonsense!!! Ha! I see right through it... that old trick is nothing new.
