Kate Baker76 said:Alright, since you're such an expert now, answer me this—why is it that only Cola helps when your stomach hurts?!😛
Personally, I’m just sick of it. Plus the burping, plus the bloating... it's absolutely disgusting!🙂
Same here. When I'm fine, it works. When I'm not, it works. I actually asked why once.
I honestly think if they did a chemical analysis, they'd find traces of cocaine (god, I can't believe I'm even typing this) if there was any in the Cola. It would cost way more than two bucks for a two-liter.
I crave EVERYTHING carbonated and sweet. Fanta is bubbly and sweet. Carbonated drinks do something to your system—I forgot what—but while you're drinking them, you aren't thirsty, then afterward, you are. I'm thirsty after water and after apricot juice too. Do they put cocaine in those? What about seasoning mixes? They have flavor enhancers in them, too.
I suggest we move the health discussion to a joke subforum.
Someone on this thread mentioned that if you drop cheese into a Bud Light, something weird might happen, but honestly, that says absolutely nothing about the cheese or the beer.
Look, when I’m feeling sick, nothing works except Coca-Cola. And when I’m actually feeling fine? Even Coca-Cola doesn't hit the spot.😁 Seltzer or sparkling water? Zero stars. Absolute garbage. For me, Coca-Cola is the only cure.
(I was such a kid growing up, thinking caffeine was basically cocaine and that coffee and Coca-Cola were just loaded with it.😁)
As far as I know, herpes isn't caused by bacteria—it's a virus that stays in your system basically from the moment you're born. For some people, it shows up, and for others, it never even manifests.
And about the whole thing with not smoking or performing oral on someone with it? Yeah, my OB-GYN told me that one herself.
Because he could pass it on to his partner as genital herpes, and just like Elvira from Looney Tunes would say, we definitely don't want any part of that, right?

My stomach was killing me with these sharp pains about two or three hours ago. I went out to grab some Coca-Cola and pretzels—I was starving, and there’s this amazing cake in the fridge, but I can't even touch it 😢—and honestly, I don't feel great, though it's not the absolute worst either. I'm just bored. That's why I'm rambling here. I really should be listening to those crazy people, but instead, I'm stuck here rotting because I'm freaking out that someone's gonna get a little too aggressive with the referee and then all hell is gonna break loose 😢
Coca-Cola has 42 calories per 100ml, while Diet Coke is only 0.2. I went to grab a regular one because my stomach is absolutely killing me, so I actually forced myself to read the label instead of being lazy.
There it is.
Anyway, does anyone know why Diet Coke is the only thing that actually helps when my stomach is acting up? It’s literally the only thing I can even think about drinking right now, even though I don't usually drink it.
Look, the calorie count on lemon water is basically irrelevant since you can't possibly drink enough of it to actually gain weight. Besides, there’s always a light version. 😁
My stomach was absolutely wrecking me recently. I spent three days surviving on nothing but Coca-Cola and pretzels. I didn't die or anything, but honestly, that was the only thing I could even think about putting in my body. Usually, I drink way less Cola in an entire year than I just did in a single day.
Anyway, I'm assuming Diet Coke still lists a calorie count. It has to be caloric to some degree because even lemon water has calories. There’s a reason "light" versions exist—if you chugged fifteen hectoliters of water a day, you'd actually blow your daily calorie limit, for crying out loud.
I dealt with H. pylori a few years back. Honestly, those meds were some of the worst stuff I've ever had to swallow 😬
@Sarah Gomez52/">@@Sarah Gomez52, for me, as long as my stomach stays empty, I don't throw up—no matter how nauseous I feel. Fingers crossed this round actually works 😁

🤣 What an idiot.
My mom was telling me about people who were projectile vomiting from their mouths and noses yesterday. Just hearing about it made me sick to my stomach, and that was two days ago. 😁 Basically, I’m sitting here thinking how impossible that sounds because when I’m actually feeling like death—and trust me, the nausea is real—I can't throw up if there's nothing in my stomach. There's nothing there.
Anyway, my dad is coming with me just in case I get so sick that I can't even make it home on the bus. And she's calling him just to tell him to make me tea when I have a fever 😁 instead of ever actually going to the doctor with me. I bet he's really going to enjoy this little experience. 😁

Alright, fine. That's not even my biggest issue. I don't drink coffee and I'm not an early riser anyway. But what about a cup of tea? Are they banning that too? Nobody told me that part.
